When the fiat system collapses, it's all gonna be about cryptos. The one that will be left standing will be the one that has set up a financial infrastructure that supports the merchant and consumer in a brick and mortar setting. It will be CINNI which is setting up an invoicing and receipt system and also a merchant and consumer wallet version.

The innovation must point in this direction. This will get more customers and potential investors onboard down the line and long-term CINNI will gain mass adoption. CINNI will take over where coinkite has failed. An altcoin must become a usable currency to have any actual value. This is where CINNI is heading. No other coin is doing this. All the rest are riding on the hype train of DRK and anonymity. 99% of consumers don't care. They just want to be able to pay for something they will consume later.

Hey guys

Here is the latest wallet: CinniCoin_1.1.0_win32.

It doesn't include the invoicing as we are having a few setbacks.
We have done loads of work on the EM distribution.
There were also some issues with appending to database, which seems to have been causing havoc all across the board.
We will be releasing more fixes soon, as well as the invoicing and receipts.
We've redesigned it quite substantially, to allow you to keep track of what has been paid, what hasn't, and so on, which is why its taking allot longer.

I'm currently having trouble with my internet, but as soon as its resolved I plan to upload the mac wallet.

Version 1.1 put on the main site, people do not know about it!!

The new version 1.1 of wallet is good. I got back all my coins and in one hour the wallet synced. The space used by the wallet is also about 800 MB on hard disk which is little higher than other wallets but I guess the new version has messaging so I can live with it. Thankyou developers.

But before starting the PR, be sure the wallets are working correctly. Sync time is way to long with every 500 blocks a long waiting time even in version 1.1
The need to delete all the AppData every time a new wallet appears is also very annoying. I can't use my wallet for more than a day before I'am synchronized again

i didnt have problem with wallet sync in new wallet . it take less than 1h to full sync

wow, that is a big difference compared to my experience with the wallet. Or you are lucky, or I am very unlucky
For me it is a real nightmare to sync. All other wallets I have (and I have many) doesn't have these problems

Again, i am waiting already 10 minutes on block 132500 and not knowing if it ever will sync...

Mine version 1.1 workes well. Just close and then reopen wallet and it will sync. It does pause at couple of places but if you leave it the wallet 1.1 will sync and stakes good with no/negligible orphan blocks.

Btw, concerning the price, we've gone through a pump to a whoopy 14200 sat per TAC today, 10% more than I expected. After a pump is always a price correct, which I think we are in now. And we're doing  fine too, price stays around 9k sat range. I expect TAC will stay at this level for a while and if the new features in the new wallet at the end of June works well, we could expect another healthy growth again.

Hello everyone.
To start, the 'pump' you are referring to was me buying a very healthy bag of talkcoin.
I started at 8000 sat and finished buying at 10,000 sat.
It wasn't an intended pump or anything alike. I simply came across this coin by mere accident as i had another coin, sold it at bittrex, and then saw tac and remembered i read someone tweet about it in the past.
So I decided to dedicate 5min to it, searched goog, and came to a single-page on bitcointalk from the launch. Took me a moment to realize talkcoin has changed and that there is a new thread...
I went into the new thread, read about the concept and got hooked on it... and decided on the spot to support the cause.
I haven't posted anything until now bcs I was exhausted from the darkcoin drama yesterday... but here i am.

I am vested heavily in talkcoin, but I don't want to profit from it. I simply want it to succeed. I practically don't care about the price, and i'm willing to donate for activities that the community thinks are in the best interests of promoting talkcoin's concept.
I believe success comes from great concepts, dev teams and marketing in this exact order. If marketing comes first, or too early, the coin simply shoots up, collapses and burns.

I admit I have NOT even d/l the client, tried the chat or anything. I will do that now that i'm less tense from yesterday's drama.

Edit: imho, the tagline should be something like "first decentralized uncensored chat" rather than calling it 'anonymous' bcs that translates into yet another anon coin like darkcoin, monero, xc, cryptcoin, and a dozen others.

Patience my friend patience. You lost 10btc because you probably bought at the peak and sold when it dropped. You want to make good profits as fast as possible, then I suggest trade a coin with high volume, volatility and a lot of hype. Those coins seem to be good for short term trades. Cinni, on the other hand, looks to be a long term investment which requires some patience!

i agree that its long term investment , but it keep losing value .
i bought at 5k-7k before it got pumped but when they release the wallet i thought ppl really like this coin and i wanted to help so i bought at high price didnt know that was just pump and dump group which take my btc and run away .
if you like me losing 10btc in this coin you will know why i left . maybe tomorrow cinni will be 100k coz i always bring bad luck to coins .

Being vested in XC from the start, I was aware of Cinni that came later, yet I did not research it for reasons beyond logic. Call it intuition...
I saw some correspondence between the two devs, and the fact that Cinni wanted to build on XC's multi-path topology once it becomes open...

But I will check to see where development stands now.

As far as I understand, their chat utilizes the communication channel between clients rather than the blockchain... which intuitively makes more sense... but i need to go deeper

Yes, they've implemented encrypted messaging and are using this as some kind of basis to develop some new kind of anonymous transfer solution that gets beyond the blockchain and beyond the dilemmas being faced other coins attempting their own solutions -- they claim it will be 100% anonoymous:

Based on what the devs have demonstrably delivered so far and my direct conversations with the Community Manager, they seem convinced that this is a big solution and intent on delivering it.

I must warn you that a part of the community is struck by low morale - there's a general feeling that CINNI has not gotten the attention it deserves for the concrete work it has done toward encryption and anonymity.

Investing right now might not be the best time. What the coin could use is an investment at the *right* time, perhaps when they deliver the expected anonymous-transfer solution to improve the odds that when they do release it they'll get the deserved market attention.

I'm newer than others to the coin, so please feel free to ask others about details who may know more and have better suggestions on if/how to proceed.

My only point is the coin deserves more attention and could really use a morale boost. It doesnt have the tainted history of so many other coins, they've delivered on much of what they've promised (some times a little late but very roughly on schedule) and they seem convinced they have a big idea on the anon front.

A big investment and a big boost to the price at the right time could be a good thing for the coin and all investors in it. I welcome you to ask others about the coin in the forum. You'll get plenty of feedback.

I had the conversation conversation with Mr. chompyZ, who made the big investment in TAC today that gave that coin a big boost, as much because of his investment as the very positive expression of support he made for it in the TAC thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619210.msg7432869#msg7432869)
