Btw. They are not the only scam around here. Look at the fake reviews of Coinbet.cc Smiley I have to laugh

bitcoincasino.org/review/coinbet-casino
bestbitcoincasino.com/review/coinbet/
bitcoingg.com/bitcoin-gambling-sites/coinbet/
online.casinocity.com/sportsbooks/coinbet/
coinjabber.com/site/www.coinbet.cc

These guys are such sell outs. The fact that these monkeys call themselves gambling bloggers makes me ashamed, that I have a gambling blog myself. I bet they have never ever played in it and the review was written by an outsourced copywriter in India.

Sadly the world of bitcoin gambling is full of scammers and it doesn't stop at coinbet.cc. All the so called bitcoin gambling bloggers are scammers and sellouts. Just check the links above. I entirely lost my confidence in bitcoin gambling.

If you scratch the surface, the world of bitcoin gambling is really ugly.

If you see one scam you might think it's like a dying patient whom you can save but in reality it is a rotten corpse dead for months. I'm going to take down the bitcoin casino section on my blog very soon for this very reason and substitute it with a general bitcoin gambling information website and a bitcoin casino blacklist.

Mike you should just order the software suite yourself or call on behalf of another claiming errors with a database overlap.  You need to get an account made on http://www.totalesoft.com/811005/faq.html

I'm not familiar with casinos but my feeling is that the bitcoin sports books are much more honest than the cash books. The customer service is better with the bitcoin books since you interact with people that can make decisions. Your input means something in the bitcoin community.

Sports book = place you can gamble on sports events (football, basketball, etc.)
I guess he is calling those sports book only taking fiat as "cash sports books".

IMHO the problem of hunting scammers should be taken to the professionals. There must be number of dedicated agencies which can be hired to trace online scams, with good connections to police and eventually FBI. It's naive to leave this job to amateur hunters on this forum, considering the 350.000 US$ amount lost.

Hi,

I'm new here. I just registered. I only registered to jump into the discussion about Coinbet and to tell this:

Bitcoin.cc is a scam! I've been trying to warn my visitors at Simon's Gambling Blog for 2-3 months now.
If you look here:

http://simonsblogpark.com/onlinegambling/best-bitcoin-casinos/

and at the bottom it is among the blacklisted, rouge bitcoin casinos (a list I will continue to expand).

Why are they a scam? First of all use a free backlins cheker and check the kind of links poinitng to the site. You will see they are disgusting spammers, spamming every bitcoin, gambling, sports betting and other types of forums.

They are spammers, you can never trust spammers. Period.

Secondly, the owner (whom I happened to speak personally) knows nothing about managing online casinos and there is no real capital (money) behind the casino (common problem among new bitcoin casino startups btw.). So if you win really big chances are the casino will go bankrupt instantly. Not just at his casino it's a common problem with Bitcoin casinos.

Thirdly, "award winning" ?!? I have to laugh. As a gambling blogger I monitor gambling startups closely and this joke of a casinos is only about 4 months old (check Wayback machine if you don't believe me) and the website has "award winning" on it since the first day. What a joke (as big of a joke as the casino itself).

Stay away from this rouge bitcoin casino (if they ever come online again) and share an like the article so the word gets out. The more people knows about this the better.

/Btw, Bittomba the biggest and oldest bitcoin casino is struggling too as of late. They have started to let go staff and they are not responding when I'm trying to reach them trough email or trough the contc form on their website. I'm not sure what's going on bu take care. Better to be safe than sorry. I guess MT. Gox and under $ 400 bitcoin is not exactly good for the bitcoin gambling industry./

Please share and like this article. The more people know about this scam the better. Think of it as public service Smiley I hope as many people read this as possible.
If Katz ever reads this: I would like to publish your story too on my blog to raise awareness about this scam. I feel like this is my duty as a gambling blogger committed to safe and responsible gambling.

Gamble responsibly, Simon from Simon's Gambling Blog

Couple things Simon:

1 -- I am more than willing to do an interview to help you out and maybe help further the awareness of coinbet's scam and perhaps prevent it from happening again.

2 -- i put the blockchain info into my original post.  i also listed dates for my deposits.  the total of those blockchain transactions is roughly 250 bitcoins (not all from me) which means the most i deposited was $125,000 (currently) worth of bitcoins, not the $300k in your article.  and of course i didn't buy in for 300k and start gambling.  i did small increments which i lost over and over again until the final time when i ran it up.

i apologize for this rant:

3 -- its pretty lame of you to come onto this forum at the 25th hour when this ordeal is over, make a brand new account and say you knew all along.  where were you a month ago or 5 months ago.  why weren't you posting everywhere?  its great you're trying to help people out NOW, but frankly people like you who sit on information for 5 months and then pop on here and say i told you so and then go nutty on reddit as some monday morning kreskin to NOW gain popularity for your blog are really just out for yourself.  i dont mind you coming on here trying to help out but stop trying to generate buzz FOR YOURSELF in the wake of this tragedy.

I came forward and made this book close down 23 hours after posting.  you had inside info months ago and posted to your blog and never really publicized it EVERYWHERE for EVERYONE (only the readers of your blog) to see.  my only issue is YOU trying to take credit NOW for what you supposedly knew 5 months ago.  frankly you're being very self serving in all this.

look at this from my point of view.  even if you did know in december, you read my post, generate buzz for your blog by claiming you know what books are dirty, write a blog post about these events generate buzz for your blog, post to reddit about knowing, generate more buzz for your blog, etc.  i mean come on bro.  i'm glad you're trying to help, but from the readers perspective on these events with you popping in here late it looks a lot like you're out for web hits and subscribers more than helping out the bitcoin community.

Coinbet's out of business. You can't hurt them. Rulez thinks he's going to do an interview saying that he gambles illegally with Bitcoins. This is going to hurt all of us that bet with Bitcoins. This is exactly what they government needs to shut down Bitcoin gambling. Legion is right. Rulez is screwing all of us because he's a degenerate gambles.

You have to understand a few thing as well:

1., I would like to do an interview with you. Very much so please drop me a line at simonandraspeter@gmail.com and we will take it from there.

2., As an owner of an online marketing agency focusing on difficult niches (gambling , bitcoin gambling ,payday loans, missold PPI, porn, viagra etc...) I can not throw shit at these people unless they truly messed up like in this case, because I work with these people on adaily basis. Starting to disclose everything I know would result in me going bankrupt really fast. And let me tell you that there is a lot more shady business going on in the world of bitcoin gambling.  Still, as long as I have at least one bitcoin client I just can't.
But! So nobody can tell me I did not warn you. DO NOT PLAY in any bitcoin casino because if you win over $ 100 000 most probably you won't be able to withdraw. And that's all I will say an be silent as the grave for now. You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole is.

3., It was on my gambling blog and I have promoted it somewhat. It's a big word online, you just missed it. I wasn't keeping it a secret.

4., "it looks a lot like you're out for web hits and subscribers more than helping out the bitcoin community" You will probably not belive this but I'm actually doing both. And I don't have a newsletter on my gambling blog, which to subscribe Smiley

"Rulez thinks he's going to do an interview saying that he gambles illegally with Bitcoins. This is going to hurt all of us that bet with Bitcoins."

a) This entire subforum is threads about people gambling with bitcoins.
Note the subforum is called "Gambling" and it's in a Bitcoin forum.
So why don't you stop posting here?

b) Gambling with bitcoins is not illegal. At least not in the USA.

"Rulez is screwing all of us because he's a degenerate gambles."

As you are someone who "gambles" on idiotic Ponzis on this site, you do know a lot about degenerate gambling.

Rulez goes public and we are all screwed. I bet .01 on Ponzis. It's the same as playing a scratch off ticket. It's for fun. I'm not a degen. Coinbet is out of business. No one can play there. Rulez doesn't care about us and the other guy just wants to promote his forum.

Don't be so sure about that. They might rebrand and will be back.

Of course they will reband. They may have done it already. We have to find that book and say it's a scam in this forum. We don't post it all over the press.

You made many posts trying to stop people from investigating the ownership of Coinbet and trying to talk them out of taking legal action, with law enforcement or with lawyers.

Now you're trying to stop Rulez from spreading the word of what occurred.

Hmmm.....

You won't elaborate because you don't know anything. Nothing good comes about this if Rulez keeps this up. Only bad things can happen to all of us that use bitcoins.

I read the OP in full, didn't read the rest of the thread.

Great story, great to have an exchange by an intelligent person shown in the Bitcoin community even if it's a painful one.  Thank you for making a detailed story and not just another "OMG these guyz are scammerz" posting.  I could read these all day.
