I didn't say it was illegal. Even if I did it has nothing to do with anything. Rulez isn't getting his money and Simon hopes his article goes big. Call the authorities if you want to do something. If Rulez wants to get his money it's the only way to go. He won't get anything but that's his best bet.
No, YOU are a degenerate who is seeing monsters under the bed and think that somehow the government can "shut down bitcoin" and that bringing scammers to light is a bad thing. Or, you know, you are connected to coinbet.cc and this is a (weak) last ditch effort to cover up. IP scan one time? If you watched CSPAN during the UIGEA talk, then you would know what I'm talking about. I can't stand Coinbet. Look at my posts. I said stay away from them. What do you mean IP scan? This is now the 10th different argument you've made against people who have gotten ripped off going forward to let people know.

Coinbet's out of business. You can't hurt them. Rulez thinks he's going to do an interview saying that he gambles illegally with Bitcoins. This is going to hurt all of us that bet with Bitcoins. This is exactly what they government needs to shut down Bitcoin gambling. Legion is right. Rulez is screwing all of us because he's a degenerate gambles.
"Rulez thinks he's going to do an interview saying that he gambles illegally with Bitcoins." a) This entire subforum is threads about people gambling with bitcoins. Note the subforum is called "Gambling" and it's in a Bitcoin forum. So why don't you stop posting here? b) Gambling with bitcoins is not illegal. At least not in the USA. "Rulez is screwing all of us because he's a degenerate gambles." As you are someone who "gambles" on idiotic Ponzis on this site, you do know a lot about degenerate gambling. Rulez goes public and we are all screwed. I bet .01 on Ponzis. It's the same as playing a scratch off ticket. It's for fun. I'm not a degen. Coinbet is out of business. No one can play there. Rulez doesn't care about us and the other guy just wants to promote his forum. Jaybird - You made many posts trying to stop people from investigating the ownership of Coinbet and trying to talk them out of taking legal action, with law enforcement or with lawyers.
Now you're trying to stop Rulez from spreading the word of what occurred.
Hmmm.....Bump.

Investigate the ownership. File with the authorities. I said it wouldn't do any good but go ahead and try. The only thing I don't want is for something like this to be in the NY Times. It really hurts those promoting bitcoins. John Bauer is the guy you want.

Go after Bauer. You guys spent days looking into meaningless information when all you have to do is track down Bauer. You want the money man. You don't want customer service reps. They are spread out in the US and Costa Rica. It's not really that tough to figure out you guys don't know who you are looking for or where to look.

Go to the police, FBI, DOJ. Show them the newspaper article with Bauer's name. Give them the emails and other proof. Then see what they do. Anyone here have any experience with this stuff or are you all just learning? It's simple but fun watching you guys run in circles.

I was ready to read everything but I stopped half way through to jump to the end Good luck getting back something, you seem to be ready for a fight! The lesson is not to leave to much money on any Bitcoin site but it is easy to get carried away and hope for the best

If I'm ever in need of money, I'm just going to run a scam with this community of gullible idiots. Seriously, is it even a scam when you're all well too willing to just give shit away? From the days of pirate to now, this community just loves being scammed; alas, it's one of the few things you can actually spend BTC on!

Isn't Internet gambling unregulated so therefore it is a dangerous thing or am I wrong?

Isn't Internet gambling unregulated so therefore it is a dangerous thing or am I wrong? Depends where you live. Even if it is regulated where you live it doesn't mean you country is going to be able to anything for you if the company exists overseas and is subject to their laws only. Not to mention they probably aren't going to give you much help considering the transactions are in Bitcoin and not in fiat.

Just an honest question, I´m curious. You´re here for the comedy, right? I mean, no worries, do what you what. It´s a good niche for that business. You could make some btc with bitcoin jokes.

No kidding. When I was reading the story, about at the point he said he went broke 18 times and kept reloading, I realized how much money could be made from gambling. And that is just legitimately taking bets. I'm not too familiar with sports betting. Was what Coinbet.cc offered guaranteed to lose money for the majority of players? Like with casinos? Or was it supposed to be player vs. player with Coinbet taking a small cut?
