The algo is the same in hvc and mnr but block headers are containing different info, because here user vote is not part of the block. So using hvc gpu miner on mnr can fork the blockchain.

Just that it will be 100% reject. you don't get it, you can't compare it to scrypt because this is the same heavycoin algo, it's like saying that if you use the same miner on two different scrypt coins, one will not receive work, it sound pretty dumb to me hm, I thought it was allowed to compare non-working algo together The best non working algo you could use would be groestl I guess, because of the low power consumption... lol i mean he can't say "i can even use scrypt but..." because obv scrypt is a different algo, it shouldn't work, but heavycoin miner use the same algo of this coin No, you dont get it. U tell me to use heavycoin miner is as good as telling me to use scrpyt miner (both miner will give same result of 100% reject) because heavycoin miner is NOT the same miner as Mjollnircoin . Mjollnircoin does not have voting system. Heavycoin miner need vote parameter to work. U get it now ? If u get it , say thank you. but you can't compare to scrypt, because it's obvious that scrypt don't work... anyway i had forgotten about the voting system |

it is soooooooo difficult to look at the previous page... To update on the Windows cgminer status, the crash is caused by AMD OpenCL compiler crashing when compiling the kernel. In Linux it compiles just fine, moreover, the very similar Heavy kernel compiles on Windows, so it is a lot of trial and error to isolate/fix the problem (AMD compiler is dead silent on its internal work, there are no error messages or anything). Chances are I will manage to fix it before tomorrow relaunch, but it is not guaranteed.
