mjollnircoin gave us a small helping hand using a bit of the IPO funds to put us over the top.

Way to support!

Selling 6 MNR, 0.2 BTC, PM me (I have plenty of trust so not going first)

so 1 is 0.033  Shocked, that's pretty high for a new coin

Takes ages to confirm and very limited quantity, and no exchanges Wink

16 MNR! 0.35 BTC, get em now Wink

lol no i'm not that stupid to pay so much for this

based on cap this should be around 5ks as a starting price, but if we consider the current alt situation, the price is probably much less

Well - until we run out, there's an existence proof that 0.35BTC/16MNR is too high:

caymar, djm34, and dga are all offering to sell at roughly 0.003871 BTC / 1MNR (see previous posts in this thread).

So you think 0.00000005?

Here's what I'm think using another HEFTY1 coin as a basis. Smiley
HVC will probably have about 95.5 million coins (assuming 512 vote)
MNR at most 42 million coins

HVC started listing on MintPal at 0.00011700
Factor in the difference in minting and I can easily see starting price of 0.00026603

I plan to put a few hundred up around this mark to try and set the starting price.

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't 5kS be 0.00005?

0.00026603 sounds good to me, might as well aim high!! Sending MNR to the exchange!!!

Come on guys, jack up the price not down.

0.00008299 is not enough for MNR  Grin

What goes on during the first hours/days more or less sets the bar.

Hmmm.. we do? Given there's no variable reward (unlike e.g. HVC), market cap in MNR can be determined directly from the block height and the reward conditions in the code; https://github.com/brokkir/mjollnircoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1094
Unless I'm missing something  Lips sealed

Not dismissing a public block explorer - I'd definitely welcome one Smiley

I see it's been listed on MintPal now with 1 vote so far. And I can't vote because "You must have a larger trade history in order to vote". I do have some trade history there, but not very much (around 0.1 BTC...).

No need to use fowl or offensive language.  Let's keep the tone friendly and family oriented please.

We were recently listed on Mintpal (8:15pm EST) for voting as has already been mentioned.
Each person can vote once an hour but you have to have a trading history on Mintpal.com to vote.   It doesn't take much trading at all.

Voting MNR to the top of Mintpal is going to be a tougher challenge but the benefits and rewards of doing so are also greater.

It will be fun to watch MNR rise up the list from approximately 400th place to spot #1.

How many hashrate that you guys get when running with 7970? For me using default setting of 1gh pool, i got 13MH/s for each 7970.

I don't have a 7970 but the 280X is more or less a newer version of the 7970 and people get very similar hash from from these two cards.

On a 280X I get 21.9MH.

Here are two command lines:
MPOS Pool like Nonce
cgminer.exe --hefty --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://mine1.mnr.nonce-pool.com:3381 -u username.worker -p mnrpassword -X 105 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 750

1GH Pool
cgminer.exe --hefty --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://mnrpool.1gh.com:6333 -u MNRWalletAddress -p VIP -o stratum+tcp://mnrpool2.1gh.com:6333 -u MNRWalletAddress -p VIP -X 105 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 750

Let us know what hash rate you get with either of these. If you use 1GH make sure to use "VIP" as your password.

BTW, are you sure you have a 7970?  You might want to download GPUZ from http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/.  Great program to have.

You should be able to get that card a few MH higher.  Are you running on Windows?
What driver version are you running?

If you want a bit of help in a quicker manner, drop in the IRC channel #MNRCOIN on freenode (see op message).  If you have TeamViewer or can install it I'd be happen to give you a quick hand to get your card tuned up and mining a bit higher.

im running win 7, 13.12 drivers. The thing is i dont want to put the core to 1250, it's too hot since i have rig with 3 cards putting in case.
Anyway i'm happy with 18MH/s each Grin
