Yes but my point was that solo mining is more efficient that using a pool, I still don't know if it can be done with your miner, I tried to use it but now testing more I noticed the function hefty_prepare_work on line 169 of heavy.c: applog(LOG_DEBUG, "Hefty masks for %f, tbits %d: sha 0x%08x, keccak 0x%08x, groestl 0x%08x, blake 0x%08x", work->sdiff, tbits, work->blk.sha_mask, work->blk.keccak_mask, work->blk.groestl_mask, work->blk.blake_mask); always show work->sdiff as 0.0 when solo mining, why ? Anyway using your pool for now during the weekend I will dig deeper. Cheers!. Edit: I am a noob in mining and crypto in general, but has been very fun until now, please correct me if I say or if I do something stupid . It is absolutely possible the miner is broken for solo (for HVC it is): getwork/getblocktemplate methods in both coins do not byteswap block header data like most other coins do, the miner does not account for that.

666 blocks before reward drops from 75 => 50 => 1332 minutes => 22.2 hours get that 50% extra reward before it's too late does anyone know when the block rewards are paid? I mined some of them (I saw them listed at the pool info), but no reward was applied. Thanks!

Carlo PS https://www.mintpal.com/voting is backup after maintenance and voting can commence.

Pretty Bazaar voting situation. We totally dominated voting on CryptoALTex and took the top spot in about 2 days. Each person could only vote every 12 hours and we got more than 200 votes. MintPal which is a very good exchange that would really benefit us, gives us the ability to vote every hour which could be about 5 to 15 votes per person a day. But we only have 62 votes total in about a day? Over 20 of these votes are mine as I have a couple of Mintpal accounts I use for trading. Comes in handy for voting too. Why aren't more people voting? Just a little statistic: If we are only going to average 65 votes a day then we might get listed on MintPal in 334 days assuming the top number doesn't get driven up any higher. Or we could purchase our way to the top for 21.681 BTC Based on the way we voted on CryptoALTex I thought we could do 300-500 votes a day easily for MintPal as we get a lot more votes a day but I guess that assumption was pretty far off.

You can get a rough idea of the number of miners and how much hash they have by looking here: http://mnr.1gh.com/and to a lesser extent here: http://mnr.nonce-pool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=poolAt least 60 miners with 50MH or more. But some people won't have enough trade history on MintPal.com to be able to vote. Some people probably don't come to the forum enough to know we need voting on MintPal.com Some people are just lazy and can't find the time to vote at least a couple of times a day.

For those without a Mintpal account I did a little test: I created a new account using my business email address.
Then I did a few transactions and checked to see if I could vote after each time. I ended up doing 4 total transactions consisting of HVC deposits of 226+22+20+36+111
After each deposit I sold the HVC at the highest buyer price. Total BTC received for these 4 sales: 0.00314803
So it doesn't take very much to be able to "upgrade" your account to be able to vote.
BTW, the cost of MNR on CryptoALTex is still to low. I continue to mine HVC, sell on Mintpal, move BTC from Mintpal to CryptoTex and purchase MNR with the btc. Overall earning more MNR this way as people are STILL selling their MNR to cheaply. PLUS is establishing a little bit of volume.
Carlo
PS hope the info above helps someone.
Currently position #252 with 115 votes on MintPal.com
