(Carlo,Brokkir,Soul,Zed) Friends I think you are misunderstanding my post,I apologise for not being clear enough.I don't need donations of any kind for the past work I did. I especially don't need the obligations that taking donation would engender. I work on the logo design in my free time because I want to help this coin succeed.

If you want to thank me for my work by a donation, send few coins to the Mjollnircoin Vault.

My post was reaction on previous sarcastic flamebait by djm34...(largest ipo holder of  Mjollnircoin - who did nothing for this community)

I don't have much free time because I work everyday and at the weekends. While changing the right leg of the M letter with hammer symbol might produce some interesting result, doing so would require much time and assiduity to complete it.I honestly think we have a few decent designs in this thread, maybe Brokkir should start a poll (later this month) so we can pick one of them?

I also encourage other members of the community to post their works!

Excellent work on the new Logo's , they look very interesting! Thanks!

AFAIK, djm34 is not an IPO holder but an early miner. The 3 IPO holders are known to me

Also, I think that most of us are on par with your schedule - Grabbing a few hours in the week (when possible) and most of the work is done on the weekends and days off

There will be a poll to select the best of the Logos yes,

There is now a Win32 binary for ElGranChango's CGMiner experiment, those who are interested are welcome to try it out:

cgminer-elgranchango.zip

I will try it...

First I am not the largest IPO holder, I am even not the largest holder.

Grin and quite frankly you shouldn't read too seriously into what I wrote (you designing the logo for a coin named after a hammer from either a comics book or a Nordic deity...  Roll Eyes and you are competing for a bounty... so it isn't entirely free development either  Grin)
Now, most of the time I look into that thread I end up seeing endless pages of logo... (not entirely your fault, it just get quoted) and personnally I would prefer read about other kind of news...
Ok the first couple of time it was nice but after a while either Mjollnircoin should have made up is mind and you should have stick to one design instead of presenting 10 (like what mymenace did actually)

We usually agree on things djm34, but I disagree on this one.

I realize it's really no big deal but I've enjoyed seeing the different versions of the coin that hamer-xx has done.
I've been looking forward to seeing new posts of his with this info.

I'm really liking both coins in this latest batch with the hammers.  Both the silver and the gold look really sharp.
Speaking of which.  Part of the decision on what logo to choose could come down to the different sizes we will need.

Some may look better when used for smaller images.

mjollnircoin, do you have any idea what sizes we will need?

MjollnirCoin Pools: block progress over hash rate
Higher hash rates (vertical axis) typically result in more blocks found (more dots along horizontal axis).
Density of dots is indicative of luck - closer together is greater luck, further apart is lower luck.
Luck is a ratio between % of blocks found and % of network hashrate claimed and should ideally hover around 100%.
MjollnirCoin Pools: blocks found last 24hMjollnirCoin Pools: 7-day luck

Mining and pool takes (indicative, not authoritative)
The previous day, 738 blocks with an average reward of 50 MNR were found on the network for a total of 36,900.01 MNR distributed.
At an average network hash rate of 1,512Ghash/s, a miner having 1Ghash/s would have earned approximately 24,400.06 MNR (minus pool fees),
that could be traded for BTC0.0366000889 ($23.17)

mjollnircoin, do you have any idea what sizes we will need?

Yes, we will need the following sizes:
  • 16x16
  • 32x32
  • 48x48
  • 64x64
  • 128x128
  • 256x256

The smallest of sizes are for the icons (incl. favourite icon)

Rescaling the LOGO to the required dimensions is a simple task, but on very low resolutions (<= 64x64) the graphic should be simple for best results (like the 2-color logos hamer-xx has posted)

Thanks for the test effort

I also ran a couple of tests, average values for my setup are:
  • cgminer (standard): 12.52 Mh
  • cgminer-elgranchango: 13.48 Mh

The hardware used is a single R9 280x, parameters passed to cgminer are:

--gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-vddc 1.094 --gpu-powertune -20

CPU usage is also around 30% on my Q8400 (but I am running just one GPU, not 3x)

What kind of CPU is in your system ?

Hello guys, did you try with worksize 128 ? For me it was needed to see a real increase in hashrate, also lower the intensity to 3 and start increasing from there. So if you haven't could you please do a second test with this settings ?

This are my complete settings:

"intensity" : "7",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "128",
"kernel" : "hefty",

"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-overheat" : "90",
"temp-target" : "85",
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",

I'm partial to the gold one... but not the gold color.

I do like the somewhat 'aged' look of the other one, too, though.
