What's the best way join into DMD Diamond and DMD Cloudmining?

I suggest split it as follows:

 a) 50% on buying Diamonds directly
 b) 50% in Diamond Cloud Mining.

This way I could achieve both maximizing the profit and stabilizing the coin.
Diamond Cloud Mining can earn Diamonds every day, those Diamonds stake with 50% PoS interest.
Some would call that Double PoS or simply PoS² (Proof of Shares and Proof of Stake).

Step by Step guide buy shares:
Quote
Register ur wallet at dmd cloudmining website
activate the settings area
activate the convert to shares option in settings
send btc towards ur linked BTC address
u get them converted into DMD Cloudmining shares

You are confusing the concept of fork with a problem related to the pools

the rewards wont change because once a POS block successful claimed
the coin age is used up in each wallet that use that address

the chance to find a block faster might improve a bit

try and share ur experience  Cool

When you says clients, do you mean 3 different PCs running the same wallet.dat
if so , Very Bad Idea , your wallets would start drifting apart with each use

u can set a changeaddress=yourmanaddress
in conf and u wont have issued with different change addresses in different wallets using same address

yes there is a tiny chance to mint for example with both wallets the same coin piles
but only one of that blocks will be accepted from network
and ur wallets reorg to the network truth

after all a blockchain is nothing else than a shared database with a bit cryptografic technologie involved  Wink

its impossible spend the same coin age twice

It is worse for PoS because staking creates more transactions and more keys.

thats just not true for DMD

yes two copy of same wallet.dat can get over time (after the 100 pregenerated addresses stored inside are used up)
a different set of private keys and addresses for new addresses

NO this dont affect staking the way DMD POS works the reward goes to the same address the coins coming from there is no other address utilized

NO this dont affect change of transactions if u set the changeaddress= parameter to ur mainaddress in diamond.conf

only way u can lose access of coins in wallet A from wallet B is when u didnt set the changeaddress= paramenter because wallet B dont know the change address wallet A created

BUT that dont change the fact that wallet A is able to access it

so please no horror stories or urban legends

stay with facts

dHearthhcpde37LYJX7YoBEKBs4K1NwxNi

something like this will be my legendary address

yes vanitygen works for DMD addresses
just use the correct parameter -X 90

download from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0

useful help:

http://www.bongbitcoin.com/vanity_addresses.php

example:

this utilize my first GPU to search for a DMD Diamond address starting with dTestAD
and save any valid addresses with their private keys it finds into the file.txt

never use any online services that generate private keys for u!
generate urself or be happy with random address names

OK,
you're not understanding me. This is not an insult toward diamond, this is a issue that can affect every single coin out there.
It has something to do with the random key address creation.

1. Backup Failure

Alice uses Bitcoin-Qt. Understanding the importance of backups, she created an encrypted wallet backup long ago and stored it in a safe place. After making dozens of transactions with Bitcoin-Qt, Alice's hard drive crashed.

Alice bought a new hard drive and then re-installed Bitcoin-Qt on it. She then restored her wallet backup. To her horror, Alice discovered the restored wallet was empty.

Explanation: Alice generated enough change addresses to overflow the original pool of 100. On the 100th spending transaction, Bitcoin-Qt moved Alice's change (which happend to be her entire balance) into an address not in the backup. Restoring the backup only restored empty addresses.

_____________________________________________________________________

But hey , it is only my Opinion,
I just thought people would like to know the possible dangers that arise from running multiple systems with the same wallet.dat concurrently.

kilo if u read my answer then we not talk against each other
i confirm that different addresses will be used in the wallet.dat once the 100 pre-generated are used up
but i also describe how u still can use ur address in two different wallet.dat without any risc involved

the important part is
changeaddress=[yourmainaddress]
in diamond.conf

i agree there lot other cryptocoins that not even have the changeaddress= option to be set in conf
and with such coins after lot transactions ur coins will be in change addresses that are not stored in ur wallet.dat backup
