This is a great example of a crypto-denominated asset that is in and of itself not crypto. This one's a real estate investment asset and a very good one: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=RENT I'd like to see more of this. As for the turning a Legendary into an asset, I've thought that would be a great idea, especially for those of us who can't quite swing buying one (and the DMD to fill it) financially. One person could buy a Legendary and then smaller stakeholders could be invited to contribute DMD to it. They could be rewarded with minting proceeds minus some kind of fee to make it profitable for the Legendary owner. For example, say you had a Legendary holding 3,000 DMD, I could contribute 300 DMD to it and get something like 8% of the minting rewards (3,000 divided by 300 = 10, but you want to take some profits for yourself). That would mean I get more minting rewards than I would get minting the 300 DMD in my own wallet at 25%, but you would also get some profits. Of course, if you yourself can come up with the DMD to fill your legendary, that would be the most profit for you. Anyway, that was an idea I had. You'd have to set it up very transparently and all that, so that people feel they can trust the opportunity. Sounds identical to BURST in many aspects, pioneers, working tirelessly, and fair rollout are all familiar terms to me I am hoping to be able to do exactly the above, tell an amazing story in the future, and hopefully be involved directly, with a project that changes the way things are done entirely. I think I should fit right in here. Absolutely. Gonna go run off and buy my first coins, then take a shower, and get ready for another day. One that should be fun, as I was literally up all night, working then deciding whether to sleep or not, then getting sucked into the forums and discovering new areas I may enjoy...lol... and based on what I'm seeing here, it's absolutely the right decision. Can't wait to chill more and get it completely figured out. I've just recently released another asset, based upon my own real company, that I hope will be start of something pushing people into thinking more outside the realm of crpyto when considering a basis for a crypto based asset. I mean, just because you're on a blockchain, doesn't mean you have to be a mining power based investment. There are so many directions to go within this new exciting realm we all love, just have to decide how you'd like to get there, and run with it. So much freedom, so much joy and fun! I truly anticipate 2016 as the year where the truly powerful newer projects shine, and I wish you here in DMD community great luck, as just the same to my home community of BURST. Wonder what a DMD based BURST asset would look like.. That's already running through my mind, though it WOULD be crypto based crypto asset, I still do enjoy those types of mutually beneficial scenarios, and there are always ways to add to them, even if started as a more 'normal' asset for crypto scene. So, staking AND mining huh? That's very interesting, I'll need to look into that, I've got a few extra SHA ASICs that are burning themselves out, I can run them to death here, a fitting and triumphant end! hehe. But if I am able to get the coin together to pick up one of these bids, is this something I may be able to base an asset on? it allows for staking, but with some sort of magical bonus or some such, yes? xD

@wiser Legendary10 are set up in a way that stake income boost is just a little goodie if thats the only thing that interest u better spend 2.4 BTC more on gather DMD thats more stake boost and more base DMD but if u belive in Unique Crypto Assets as something new that can get lot more attached to it then yes aim for a legendary something more attached to it? dont ask we dont talk about stuff that not ready and sure to really happen but it wont have any added POS income or such stuff its something different we have in mind something "real" that can be attached to a legendary...... .....oops already said to much

Well, I finally decided to get myself a dmd wallet.
Thinking about throwing some SHA power (only 1.5 TH) and maybe a bit of random gpu at this for fun... but I'm really here for this coin's interesting properties, I'd like to do a bit of studying on it and see if I would like to get in on this auction you've got going on, because after all, who doesn't like being legendary? heh.
Anyway, hello dmd community, how's it going?
Great! It is good to see you join the DMD cause. This is an exciting PoS crypto currency with high interest rates (but will decrease after halving) That is one of the things that makes it so special. Also, don't forget that DMD is very rare so the limited supply makes it a benefit for the price.

Thank you all for the warm welcome I hope all goes great as well, and I'm sure it will. I generally watch and learn for a while, but eventually I will end up providing services of all types, and doing bigger things, just as I've done with BURST. So I'm hoping that this project will allow me even more to work with in the realm of crypto Teach me everything! heh. sounds great we operate following 3 core rules 1st.: a investment in DMD is predictable core specifications like total coins, coin rollout plan, expected POS income are never changed in a way that is worse for investors 2nd.: DMD Diamond is flexible but in a way that dont affect stability that means we ready to include proven features if they give us added value but we not use DMD to act as a testcoin for brandnew stuff example the soon to be added stake boosted addresses and merge mining is well established technology and no experimental code and we plan longtime that give us the possibility watch interesting stuff for months or years before we decide if we add it additional we find ways to utilize technology in new innovative way as the Unique Crypto Assets show more to be expected in that direction (not more legendary10 but more creative ideas u didnt see somewhere else) 3rd.: we are one of the few 100% scandalfree coins with absolute fair coin rollout (and nearly 3 years old!) no premine no special stuff that would be not accessable for everyone even the legendary10 everyone can bid and we as DMD Diamond Foundation members only allowed place a bid for unsold legendaries just a day ago someone asked me what we get paid for all the hours we invest the answer is easy to be able be part in a story that we can tell or grandchildren is what make it worth all the time we invest and who will play the tragic role like the guy who sold 10% of apple 30 years ago that the future will show also who will be the legendary participants where their stories fill books about the age when crypto economy made its first steps crypto-pioneers we are! join us! hahaha...far from scandalfree and doesnt .05 from every block go to the foundation, not a premine but shady. what about the forced "reactor" and all those 500 deposits from cryptsy and then the withdrawal you wouldnt explain. hahahaha

Ya but DMD has done a lot of us well. I don't disagree with you though. Definitely shady behavior at times.

I have noticed that I have less and less time to keep the DMD Reddit page ( https://www.reddit.com/r/dmd) up to date so I was wondering if someone else wanted to volunteer to help me out. Since I took over we went from 20 subscribers to 43, almost all because of this awesome community. I know that isn't very many, and the goal is 200 so that other cryptocoin Reddit pages take us seriously, but considering what that subreddit started at I am pretty pleased by the community involvement. I am in no way lowering my opinion of DMD or it's community. I am not cashing out my DMD, nor am I not going to update the Reddit page when I can. I could just use another moderator to help me out. Of all of the cryptocoin communities that I have encountered this one is by far the best. I have PMed Cryptonit, Popshot and Crazyivan many times with ridiculous questions that have nothing to do with DMD and they have always answered as best as they could in their thick Eastern European emailed accents. If you can help me out with Reddit that would be great! Thanks!

welcome back SgtMoth please ask a question so i can answer honest and objectively what transactions are a mirracle to u? what about the concept of supporting DEV team by foundation share u dont like? and since total coins 1000000 it is 0.01 DMD each mined POW block so ~7 a day ~200 a month do u want to know how much more value we spend each month for domainnames servers webhost nodes artwork promotion and development? what forced reactor u talking about?

The staking looks very attractive. How does this work? Do you just need to store the coins in the wallet or does this wallet needs to be open and the computer running 24 hours? It's quite a difference because of the electricity costs.

You will only need to open the wallet 2 to 3 times a month and leave it open 2 or 3 days each time. No need to have it running 24/7.

You just have to store some coins in the wallet, close it and after 9 days (min stake time) you can open it in minting mode. It will mint pretty fast, however this depends of your size of coin piles. For example if you have a coin pile of ~1000 DMD you will get after 9 days ~ 7 DMD.

Big time difference, no high electricity costs, no expensive gear, you can stake coins on a simple laptop if u want. Staking is a bit different form of "mining", all you need is to obtain as much DMD as possible, place them in your wallet, do not move them from your wallet in order for them to mature and after 9 days, they ll start staking. As it was already pointed out, once a week you can unlock your wallet for staking, leave it for a couple of days and that s it. Differently from many other PoS coins, DMD Diamond staking is much more advanced and user friendly, so no need to split or rearrange blocks, just unlock and the wallet does it all for you. Let us know if you need any more help, DMD Diamond community s always glad to help out.

https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php/topic,127.0.htmlshould give ya a good understanding of DMD POS short spoken "stake every 14 days for 2 days is enough" but for the guys who love to stake 24/7 for supporting the DMD Diamond Network soon there is the ROKOS flavors based "DiamondOS" ready that make out of a raspberryPi2 and other supported minicomputers a 5w power useage staking station

It's nice to see that the price of diamonds is recovered. Hopefully that will come new heights DMD people can sell are finite each cycle coin go through a exchange some land in hands that withdraw for staking and coins people might sell from their POS income are reduced by 50% since POS rate did go from 50% to 25% its just a matter of time the reduced inflation will have visible effects whole bittrex sellorders are below 7k people slowly realize that the optimal investors time window with crazy prices below 0.00070 wont last forever a collapsing exchange like cryptsy and the linked coin exodus wont happen everyday
