I might make a new announcement thread. Talking about the destruction of coins and the giveaway. Does anyone know how to officially destroy coins? I'm not sure how to destroy them. I might talk to the Limecoin dev because he apprently helped another coin destroy coins.

Also FREEB was planning to destroy coins as transaction fees, by sending between two accounts.

I didnt know that the coins could be destroyed in such a transparent way.

you dont need to withdraw, the dev froze the markets to officially set-up the new distribution model.

Nothing has changed, once he set it up officially the market will unfreeze

I have a strange problem.  I've downloaded the wallets so that I can generate a wallet address for the form.  When I click to add a new address, I'm unable to generate a valid address.  I provide a label for the address and click OK.  I get a error that says, "The entered address "" is not a valid Yangcoin address".  Same error for both wallets.

What's up with that?

I believe the devs of XBC placed the coins to be taken out of circulation into a wallet and then forked it out of the blockchain so they couldn't be used. I think that is also what happened in the case of Asia coins hidden premine that got discovered. I'm not entirely sure how difficult that would be to achieve or exactly how transparent it would be to anyone looking for proof of them being taken out of circulation but it seems to have worked for them. and as you stated before, i think limecoin played a part with the XBC team in doing this so it may be worth enquiring.

yes, i imagine we all do, your coins will be safe. The markets have been frozen for now though while the dev sorts out destroying a few million coins and distributing some of what are left.

I added  your node and it didn't make sense . it was still at block 19231 by yincoin.

I'm at the same block height and I have now 8 connections. I've started to mine 5 minutes before my previous post here and still didn't find any block.

Im holding about 30K Yin for a while now...Wich I bought at poloniex... And not planning too sell for a long time... These coins got great potential... even if it hits 2 K satoshi its still a bargain in my opinion...

If possible... Can I recieve Yang only? since my YIN is already big enough for me

quick question about the distribution then if that's okay : shouldn't the people who already own Yin/Yang receive a bonus ? It's not very interesting for investors who are in since the beginning, and currently still holding yinyangs (like me), to see that the currency they have been buying  with their own money is now being spread for free. I kind of have a feeling we are being left out ?
