Shame, fantastic coin, but pools are complete joke. Hope it will be fixed soon. Meanwhile I mine other coins and buy monero.
Pools get DDOS by some haters and the network itself may get attacked, what are we supposed to do ?? so you mean your pool have a problem right now? i point my 5kh on your poor and its looks like its still mining but no payment until now, so do we need to pull out our rigs on your pool? instead of mining for nothing... need your answer

Yesterday we had a problem with bitmonerod getting stuck, finding no blocks and: We set up a strict monitoring system, so if we have a problem in the future - probably other pools are having the same, but we will be the first to notice and fix it.http://pool.cryptoescrow.euA reliable pool with almost instant support. Everyone is very welcome to join us!

is the GUI released yet?
The GUI is not important enough for us to be worried about yet. I'd say we want to get the software as bulletproof as possible now, first. Worry about a gui later. If not having a gui means less attention it is better for now. We want to make sure when the attention comes we are ready. Clock is ticking, zerocash is around the corner and could bite your ass if you don't hurry up. How has zerocash solved the accumulator problem? If not then it's a trusted system not a trustless system. No one in crypto is interested in third party god mode. They are using multisig method, so out of lets say 20 people, just one of them needs to be honest. Either I have misunderstood the accumulator issue or you have misunderstood the accumulator issue. Zerocash requires an initial accumulator that will exist for the life of the currency. This accumulator requires certain knowns to be created. These knowns then have to be thrown away. However it's impossible to prove they were throw away. Hense the concern. Someone who retains these variables in the beginning will be able to print new zerocash without any ability to prove the supply is being manipulated. This is why in its current form zerocash is an example of a trusted crypto currency, and trust at this particular level (control of the money supply by whomever started the currency) is certainly a no go. Maybe i didn't explain it well enough, here i will give you the source. https://twitter.com/secparam/status/476479941878755329Well "multi party computation" is certainly not "multisig" Also, what the hell is "multi party computation"? Even if all the computers take part in the computation of the accumulator, the initial variables still need to be present when the final accumulator is forged. I haven't read any research about "multi party computation" that can solve this issue. In fact, true "multi party computation" would be a more impressive invention than zerocash itself. Please present the papers about "multi party computation" because I need such tech for a project of my own (nothing to do with anon by the way)

It shouldn't have problem right now but I would try mining on different pools to compare. Yesterday we had a problem with bitmonerod getting stuck, finding no blocks and: We set up a strict monitoring system, so if we have a problem in the future - probably other pools are having the same, but we will be the first to notice and fix it.
The bitmonerod getting stuck is easy to solve but did you get DDOS yet ?

Price growing really fast. How much time do you think it could take to reach 0,01 BTC?
Impossible to say, but at this rate pretty soon I've sold for now, but will buy back in. Hopefully not at a loss.

Nope, likely DDoS will only happen to larger pools. Yeah. As you said to me, DDOS attacks are from selfish miners that want to maintain low difficulty and kill other miners.

I got a lot of quick <yay!!!>'s with wolf's miner (more and at more regular time-intervals than on moneropool.com) and thought to myself, this is a good connection and they make a lot of of blocks with relative low hashrate. Well, it doesn't look good any more. monero.crypto-pool.fr, hope you pay out soon.

Payment are emitted automatically but if the transaction doesn't confirm then you don't get your payment. I can pay manually but that doesn't really solve the problem. Your payment is just delayed for few hours. You are free to try other pool in the meantime. We have to find a solution about the DDOSing of large pools. I am thinking about building a private pool with invite and authorised IP.

superresistant, if payments are failing there should be log files called something like payments_failed_4432564123.json in the directory where you start the pool..
MoneroPool.org is very slow while I investigate the DDoS, but luckily it's still functional..

It seems to be stuck at 0.43 coins for like the last 15 hours when there are plenty of confirmed blocks which are unpaid ?

It's running fine again. Blocks get confirmed or orphaned. I'll check for the 15 hours unconfirmed coins.

On the pools blocks' page I see '62 pending maturity' (white) , 12 orphanes and 0 'unlocked blocks (green) since block height 86896 (=15-6-2014 23:13:08) ... So, I would presume nobody has received any pay out since that time ....

DogeCoin has gained a large lead in the voting for the next coin to be added to CoinRecycler, with 45% of the votes!
It would be exciting to see DOGE as the first real coin on CoinRecycler Smiley Not only would those of you that are MastiffCoin fans be able to recycle DOGE for MAST, but DogeCoin would also gain the ability to do anonymous transactions!
Don't forget to vote at voting.mastiffcoin.com - ~33 hours left until the votes are tallied and the next coin is selected!
