The stuck withdrawal I had from Poloniex finally appeared on the blockchain.
The transaction fee is less than 0.00002 though, isn't that too low?
Hopefully their recent resync is because they have updated their daemon.

They must have fixed their fee for manual transfers .. maybe not automated withdrawals?

I have received all my my withdrawals, there were three in total. I put in for withdrawal yesterday and now, 28 hours later I have them. They didn't come all at once, quite a few hours apart.

I put in a ticket and they were quick to respond. It was "elevated to Tristan" .. guessing that means "set it up for manual withdrawal"?

For anyone still dealing with the withdrawal issues, hopefully this eases some worries .. they're definitely working on it but it just takes some time. Pretty awesome of poloniex to put this amount of time into supporting Monero.

I also had a ticket elevated to Tristan, and is still "being processed" even though the withdrawal is done (I let them know).

Just to have more information, did your withdrawals have normal-looking fee?

No, the fee was too low .. pretty sure it takes ~24 hours to be kicked from the tx pool and be confirmed in the wallet (even after killing poolstate etc..). They don't want to risk double paying people by sending out another transaction, so it's about a 24 hour wait. They use the same txid so if you want just keep looking on the chain for that and when it shows up it'll be on its way to your wallet.

This pool is good,  and doesn't  have ddos problems  http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu

I run that pool - and I made the CPUminer 10x faster.

Thank you for the new CPUminer. Any new win64 versions coming out soon Grin? Also, why hasn't the pool found a block in so long with its high hash rate? Never mind i hadnt refreshed the page. Good Work!

most probably due to the massive hash rate being unaccounted for in any pool. most probably botnet solo setup or large cpu/gpu farm..... think the pools are finding blocks based on luck atm until things settle down again...

Just a bug in the program from compiling. A guy named Tom compiled it, guessing you're using one of the binaries?

It's nothing to worry about. If it bugs you, restart the daemon and it might make it appear a little less often.

Don't think of it as one of the usual altcoin. There is not necessarily a tangible fact that would explain that easily.
Your question is more like asking some years ago why BTC price was increasing. The answer is... a lot of factors.
I'd sumarize with "increasing awarness of a ground-breaking technology, and increasing trust in its future".

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

His problem is that it isn't starting:)

ivanlabrie - delete your p2pstate.bin file, I believe on Windows it is in %AppData%/bitmonero
