Don't know if you guys forgot but we are maybe 2 weeks or a bit more from mintpal. I know not everybody likes that exchange but the fact remains the coins spike before going there. Now if this coin is the quality I believe it is. It will be fine medium term vs any mintpal shenanigans.

Spoetnik, Perhaps you don't realize but a lot of people read what you say and believe a lot of what you say Smiley  Its just you lose a lot of people in the delivery that you perhaps would be better served holding on to.  Just saying Smiley

Steve

i see what your saying about MintPal and i say every god damn word with lazer precision ON PURPOSE.
If you can't handle it stay of MY internet Smiley
just sayin' Wink

The fact i am awesome and smarter than most of you all is just something all you need to accept and come to terms with.
I think you guys need to quit looking for BFF's on Bitcointalk.. don't like me ? you REALLY think i care ?

i have done some test on the real profit

with my 52MH/s i do about 3k jackpot per hour(72k per day), the estimate say something like 95k per day

now 72k/95k=0.76 = 76% of the estimate, the estimate per day is wrong for a 1/4 factor...if we count some tolerance with my test, there is still at least 1/5 factor wrong

Estimated earnings are calculated by ideal block finding stats which is 100%.
Actually Jackpotcoin is using hybrid PoS/PoW but continually resets PoW blocks every 20 seconds, this estimation is not correct.

But, even with that estimation our pool is finding blocks well recently.
As current block finding stats on our pool is saying 112.34% which means miners just wasted 12.34% than ideal expectation.

I don't know where you have put your hashes, but compare block stats between pools and choose the lowest percent to get maximum coins.

Why don't you mine on our pool? -> http://jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com
We run PPLNS so it might not boost coins at first for 10 rounds but you will earn much coins than other pools on this stat. I can't guarantee block finding stat will be good for next day too but I think it will work well.

Happy Mining!

i'm trying your pool now, it seems a lot better then the previous one, the swing of the diff is basically the same, the cause is not that i'm sure

Honestly, payouts should be pretty much identical between our pools if you average it over a decent amount of time, it's purely down to luck how close to the estimated share % we are at any given time, yesterday Hash@Me was under 100% for the hour...but it swings wildly with this coin.

You really can't take the last hour/24hours as a sign of pool performance, only luck, and if you look at the longer stats of 7day/all time you'll see our pools are within 7% of each other (Hash@Me slightly lower, but a statistically insignificant amount). Plenty of room for us all though and miningpoolhub has always been a great pool. Smiley

Hey guys, I'm now running a fun JPC lottery at Hash@Me, weekly I will draw a name randomly for someone that has mined at the pool every day for the week and they will receive 100,000JPC Bonus payout. This is separate from the superblock jackpot payout (I am funding it) and everyone that has mined at the pool every day for the previous week has an equal chance of winning regardless of hashrate. First prize draw will happen at 5PM ET 21st June, for this first drawing anyone who mines every round between 11:59PM ET June 19th will be eligible for the prize. Smiley

Just a reminder, the first 100k JPC draw is happening in a little over 5 hours. You must have mined in all rounds since this post to be eligible for the draw. Smiley

Come mine with us at Hash@Me to be entered into the next drawing. Remeber, everyone who mines at the pool has an equal chance of winning regardless of hashrate, a nice bonus for the smaller miner!  Grin

Not exactly true. I'm probably the only guy who's switched with more pools than spending time mining the coin itself.

Payouts are always dependent on the percentage of blocks that are found within an hr (for easy comparison). But that's not the only reason. Payouts are also largely dependent on the type of hash thrown at the pool. Ever since those 1-3 Gh/s miners hit your pool, lets just say that just one of those miners had more hash than the rest of the entire pool itself (at one point in time), which automatically gave over 50% of the entire shares to just that one guy. I did a brief calculation, and with my 110 Mh/s, your pool finds an average of 12-15 blocks an hr, and I get around 500 coins per block. On an extremely good and lucky day, I once got 149K coins, but my everyday output was ~ 120k coins, seems less? Of course.

So from my little experiment, I found out that it's not always the best option to join a pool with the highest hash rate out there, as the number of blocks found by that pool may not necessarily match the number of shares that one may get by a lower hash pool, while in theory it should work, but in real it doesn't.

The 1-3 Gh/s miners have nothing but unfair advantage, and I'd rather mine in a pool where there's not such a large variance in comparison with the average mining population.

Edit: I should also add that ever since I've been mining a dwarf pool, I'm easily averaging 170-200K, and sometimes even more, with just 3.5 Gh/s pool. The moment some big 1 Gh/s, miner hits the pool, well then I'm gone, and at current looks, miningpoolhub would look better to mine on than any other pool.

Not much I can do about the hashwhales, can't kick someone for having too high a hashrate. Undecided

I still believe over time it should work out the same though, sure you get less shares per block, but you find more blocks, over a few days it should average out to be more or less the same (luck is obviously still a factor). How much more are you finding you are earning at a pool without hashwhales?

edit: ok you updated your post, so about 20-50k/day. Hmm. Will have to move my little 15MH and see if the it holds true for lower hashrate, 110MH is still pretty big.

Hey Aliman, just doing some stats trying to work this out, pool is averaging 80JPC/MH/block so you should have been getting payouts closer to 900 than 500 per block with 110MH. Even using your stat of 500JPC per block, and your block per hour estimate, 12*24*500=144k to 15*24*500=180k....so that would make your "extremely lucky day" just on the low side of average. This guy has around 5-10 Mh/s more than me and you can check out his round earnings, 900 seems a little stretch I'd say.

Yes, I think it's more like 750 average for your speed. You've only quoted the latest round, if you go back and look at other rounds you'll see plenty of 788 per blocks.

His MH is between 105-110 so pretty much the same as you, payout for last 24hrs was 160k. Smiley

I think it's probably because the hash has dropped from 10Gh/s to ~ 8Gh/s.

But I'm still getting more at the other pool, however, thanks for the info.

My rig with 4@ 290s mines 4 pools at the same time, switching each GPU to the most efficient pool.  It judges this on ping time, stale rate, hardware errors, rejected shares, etc.

To do this, all you need is to run CGWatcher and let it manage your miner.  It will even monitor your cards for overheat and slow them down as necessary (mostly for scrypt mining this is needed, SHA3 and JPC are real easy on the GPUs).  Other features include rebooting, coin profitability, multi profile settings, scheduling pool and coin changes.

Pools go down.  If I stuck with one pool, i could get hours of nuthin'.

My rig gets 12MH, and divides it among 4 pools.  Some JPC pools pay POS, others POW, and another POS/POW.

My log file shows DEAD pools all the time.  CGWatcher then keeps checking every minute or so until the pool comes ALIVE.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket, diba.

while back i just used 3 pools and then the wallet solo mining as a fall back in sgminer's conf file.
and occasionally i would switch up the primary and on other miners i had other pools setup as primary..
with the goal of having 1 worker on each major pool.. never know what one has the pot next right.
although cgwatcher is great and it works for sgminer too..
my point is sgminer can pretty much do what you said with out having to use cgwatcher though..
it will keep tabs on pools etc so you don't really need a special program for that
and having the wallet open as a fall back is smart too because a lot of people will be offline if pools go down
giving you a potential opportunity to solo mine with lots of miners out there shut off Wink
Never used cgwatcher much at all with JPC but it is a good FREE program though.

also i agree with the faucet.. my referral link to it is in my sig Smiley
i also use some gambling sites which lets you play free once an our and i hope they add JPC support.. feel free to nag them about it Wink

that one is for LTC and i got 2 more in my sig (BTC + Doge) that all let you play for free once an hour or send some money and gamble it up lol
never won a big pot on free plays but they are legit and pay out (best i can do is usually second best amount on free plays)
they work.. they are legit and it's something to do and it would be cool if they added JPC support Smiley

With CGWatcher,I can mine JPC for 12 hours, then Scrypt mine 10 diff pools for 2 hours, then mine MAX and 365 with Keccak for 10 hours... all without having to touch the rig.

So haven't you figured the most profitable pool as yet?

Pools go down.  If I stuck with one pool, i could get hours of nuthin'.

My rig gets 12MH, and divides it among 4 pools.  Some JPC pools pay POS, others POW, and another POS/POW.

My log file shows DEAD pools all the time.  CGWatcher then keeps checking every minute or so until the pool comes ALIVE.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket, diba.

Hi, I want to know the coins you earned from each pools.
Our Jackpotcoin Mining Pool Hub is having good block finding stats, Last 24 Hours for 117.51%.

Well, you might get less coins at start since it is running by PPLNS payout system. I want to know real benchmark you had done.
