We were in high 80s a day or two ago.  by all means sell if you want, I'm personally enjoying the cheap prices and staking my hoard.  If the jackpot x1000 truly scared every investor, we wouldn't see any BTC volume ever.  I believe the transaction history can speak itself there.

Is it a perfect coin? no, that doesn't exist, there is always room for improvement and any change comes with both pros and cons.  It is however a damn fast coin that is rapidly becoming more and more appreciated with the gambling crowd.

On a side note to anyone reading this, we REALLY should get a poker site up and running for JPC if we can.  I don't have the programming skills or poker knowledge to do this, but I personally feel that it would be a very impressive "feature" for the coin and lure in a quite a bit of people.  I would gladly contribute towards a bonus bounty for it.

short of instaminers, no not really.  I mean really though, if you aren't on your own resources, such as christian with his pre-release ccminer stuff, you can't expect to have some awesome advantage, and if there's no advantage, you're simply part of the pack.  Nothing wrong with that, but I get the sense that quite a few miners feel like they should be millionaires or living comfortably off of mining alone, and while that's possible with serious talent and/or serious investment in hardware, it's not the norm.

In short, they want to be ahead of the curve, but they 100% rely on other's efforts to get there and that simply doesn't happen.  I personally am very appreciate of c&c's (now only C's) work, but I also spend a lot of time perusing markets and doing careful trades both long term and short term.  If it was as easy as looking at a profit calculator and running a bat, EVERYONE would do it.

That being said, I'm more than happy with this coin  Smiley

not sure if you've used the Black Dragon Coin wallet but they have a "Socials" tab in the wallet with various links to relevant sites.  If you take that concept and slap a "Gaming/Gambling" tag on it and then provide links to some of these gambling sites offering poker/dice, younameit...  Moving JPC is definitely a selling point, as anyone who's moved BTC can attest to.

as far as getting a site on the wallet links, the screening process should be thorough, as clicking on wallet links should inspire confidence you aren't going to be raked over the coals by some scammy gambling site out to siphon out your JPC

How about a gambling game inside the wallet itself. The game will run on the blockchain. Something like talkcoin run its chat on blockchain.

I like this idea, it would be cool to have a lottery in the wallet too.. like pay a fee to participate (sort of like the POW one but for POS)

Jackpotcoin has established partnership with Bitscoinshop (http://www.bitscoinshop.com.br/en/) where you can buy items by using Jackpotcoin, and enjoy 10% discount. As Jackpotcoin is not yet integrated with the payment platform, you will need to use the following procedure during checkout:

1. Customers wishing to purchase using Jackpotcoin should choose the product, along with signing up with the details and place of delivery;

2. Choose the bank transfer as the payment method, meanwhile leave a message to indicate that you want to pay with Jackpotcoin;

3. In the message, specify the dollar amount of your purchase (with 10% discount) and the quote of the current exchanging rate (Bittrex Exchange). Bitscoinshop will convert the amount of your purchase into Jackpotcoin, and send wallet address for payment.

4. Once confirmed the payment, items will be delivered.

that is the best idea i've heard so far in this thread. we need more people here who think like this. that is a project i'll into later if no one steps up here

for right now. coinpayment is a must for us to get on

if they add JPC i know 5 gambling sites who use coinpayment would start accepting JPC TODAY

plus that means 100's of online stores would accept.

I think it was ~1mil.
It would be easier to find info on it if blockexplorer had option of finding superblocks or just had a superblocks list...
