Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Hello Dev, i have a question regarding the Coin Recycle - what is the propotion/calculation with recycling coins, how can I know how much SFR can I receive with 1000 DOGE ?

Divide the current bid of the other coin with the current bid of SFR and then multiply the total amount you wish to recycle.
At current rates, to recycle 1000 Doge, you would get about 8.9 SFR.

I am building a new machine powerful enough to host just the wallet- lemmee see, intel 6-core, about 64 gigs of ram, a couple R9 295x2's aughtta do it... Wink

Oh- an alarm clock- it needs an alarm clock for when I fall asleep at my monitor from spending hours facinated by all the wallet's features (and learning how to utilize them)!

This is too much! Saffroncoin is the ONLY coin I never bother checking the price on, I just read the forums and #SFRcoin posts. So well thought out, and the Developers have ALWAYS been in overdrive. I LOVE this coin, and this community.

Once you select the coin you want to recycle and enter your Saffron Address, you will get message giving you a corresponding DOGE/MYR/RDD address. You need to send your DOGE/MYR/RDD to the address given to you.

In this image, I want to recycle Myriad, so i select it, enter my SFR address and click "Recycle". A message is shown with a address to send my MYR. I send MYR to that address from any other wallet or an exchange. After 1 block confirmation on MYR and SFR, I would receive equivalent SFR amount at the SFR address I specified earlier.

what the hell is happening with the Difficulty

over 1 million on sha256 (1,784,868) with less then 3ths over 2 pools

one of your greedy basted are solo and want 100% of the pie , we need the Diff to stay low and profitable  so we can get more member to join our community.

at the end of the day there no point using 100ths to solo mine and get 98% of the coin if no one else want to buy them.

If you have more then 1 miner  point your smallest miner onto the pools and mine BTC with the rest of your power and buy saffron coin with your earning

Dear Dev ,
We really need a muitlpool  even if you send our power to ghash and pay us .

THIS ACCOUNT WAS HACK > SORRY FOR ANY ONE THAT HAS DEALT WITH THIS ACCOUNT.

They will. They just need more time. They are also a startup and they want to establish themselves first.

Lazycoins is a new exchange with a beautiful UI. Have also heard it is very fast. This could become a big exchange very soon. It has tabbed markets. So no need to navigate to different pages to trade. Pretty cool.

Never heard of this coin before. From the description in the OP:

Quote
Saffroncoin is a multi algorithm crypto-currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. SaffronCoin targets various miners across the globe using different algorithms.

How is this coin different from Myriadcoin which also uses different PoW algorithms each with its own independent difficulty to target miners using different hardware? Just a brief sentence or two would be appreciated.

The entire OP itself describes how different we are. First of all, 2 of our 5 algos are different. Then the wallet speaks for itself.

We will soon be using the blockchain and sidechains to host various apps on them.

I like SFR, because of it's great features and really dedicated developers, but I think it needs more marketing.

Just checked out the statistics of SFRPay. It is a great success. Over 1 BTC worth of SFR bought in 2 days through the Saffron Wallet. We may consider adding Bitcoins too much later since some of you say that it takes 4 days for your BTC to reach you from coinbase.

New wallets for Ubuntu and Archlinux are now released!

For Ubuntu, if you use the repo i've made, you just have to type this line :
Code:
apt-get update && apt-get install saffroncoin-qt-mt
This will update the package database and update the Saffroncoin-qt MultiTasking wallet Wink.

Else, download the new .deb here
I assume you know what you have to do to upgrade to the new version.

For Archlinux, download the wallet here
