I downloaded the Windows simple wallet from weslyl. It wont accept my old NXT address and it wont copy and paste address as I try to opoen a new account.
Correct me if Im doing something wrong but this smells of a FAIL.
What windows version is this? There is no logic to prevent copy paste. Can you right click in the field and select paste? |

Only fail here must be your ability to remember your password, most mistakes happen between the chair and the computer. 1) if it's copy/paste password see if you don't forget a space or something 2) Put back the exact password you typed 3) Check a blockexplorer Dude my 'password' is about about 200 random letters and numbers, of course I need to cut and paste it!!!!! So the developers blocked the ability to cut and paste a password, are you friken serious!!! Have you tried ctrl+V? That works for me. Awesome that works great. Some people are actually helpful on here, cheers. |

Also, it's better to use password managers (KeePass or Lastpass that I use myself) -- they can do auto fill without a need for copy and paste |

You can choose a passphrase like this if you want: username@example.com:blahblasPassword There is no concept of "username" in crypto. It's based on private/public key. For nxt, the hash of your password is private key. |

I'm a bit of NXT cheerleader but historically the price always goes up in anticipation of something but as soon as the community gets it they are like 'bleh', and then the price drops again.  I'm still optimistic long term (as always) but not short term.  |
