So, we are just back from Bitcoin2014 and the response to Nxt was simply amazing!

The booth was never empty, nearly always 3-5 people around it.

We talked to people from all walks of life: normal users, crypto collegues (BTC, Ripple), lawyers, Venture Capitalists, developers, oh so many more.

We got so many good response from all present and Nxt definitely is taken seriously by people across the board.

More info on this board: https://nxtforum.org/bitcoin2014-btc-foundation-conference-amsterdam-%28may-15-17%29/

Good day everyone,

First of all, I want to thank all of the investors, developers, traders and supporters surrounding Nxt. In less than 6 months we have become a top ten cryptocurrency. Without your support we could have never come this far.

Furthermore, I would like to announce something I think we should all endorse:

Project: Nxt Grassroots Adoption
Tagline: Play the Sentiment

Let me start by asking:
How many of us would have liked to have had a friend with the foresight to tell us to buy a little bit of Bitcoin years ago? How many of your family members would have liked to have had someone convince them to buy even just ten dollars worth, only to find out recently that their investment is now worth thousands?

I'd say every single one of us and every single person we know that didn't get into Bitcoin in the early days wishes we had a friend or family member that took it upon themselves to give us that opportunity.

If you knew about Bitcoin and its potential years ago...

* Would you have convinced your mother to put five dollars in with the possibility that she might be able to buy everything she wants on Amazon someday?

* Would you have convinced your father to buy $25 worth just for the sake of having a quality long-term investment?

* Would you have told your uncle, who keeps hoping to win the jackpot by buying lottery tickets, to put a little bit of money into something with a real chance of massive returns?

* Would you have convinced your friends to get in, however small, potentially changing their lives in the process?

I would have.

With Nxt, you have that chance. We have a high-profile “platform” in our hands which is only three months old and currently dirt cheap in comparison to its massive potential. We have a currency with monumental technical advantages over the de-facto standard. We have an amazing development team for both the coin and infrastructure, and a community that will never stop pushing forward.

How about spreading the word about Nxt?

Suggested way to help:
- "Hey, why don't you buy a few Nxt coins?"

Make everyone a small holder. Use your network (facebook, Twitter, neighbours). Appeal to your friends, your family and your acquantainces. Help them buy coins from the market, make it easy. Suggest them to invest a little bit of money. Play to Nxt's potential and play to Bitcoin's success. Let them buy some shares too.

Help them install the wallets, use online wallet (https://wallet.mynxt.info/), do the Bter/Cryptsy trade for them.

Thousand of $5 investments are worth more than one $5000 investment. Remember that.

why i have no chance to forge?
i saw  wallet which has forged always have millions nxt coins!
is it right that have fewer net coins have less chance to forge?

Can I suggest you read the NXT Wiki at http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/FAQ#Forging
The section on "How much Nxt can I earn by forging, and how often will I get it?"

Finally if you have a little NXT - you  can  lease it to a pool.

It was so interesting, I haven't even noticed  Smiley You should be able to crop videos in the video manager, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I didn't think it's actually possible to melt silver at home before I read about it in your posts. I thought you'll be outsourcing it. Science is cool.

im only outsourcing the supply. see it would be an accounting nightmare to sell silver for nxt, nxt for btc, btc for usd, and usd for silver. also it would be really hard to keep up with whether i was making money or losing it. if i got audited they would probably just throw me in jail for the simple fact that they couldnt even figure out what was going on. also silver may be cheaper in other parts of the country and only people who live in those places know the ins and outs of the market in their area. so thats why idecided to outsource that part. everything else i am doing my self.

Yeah, I get it. I meant I didn't know it a couple of weeks ago when I first heard about your project. I didn't just realise that you can possibly melt metal at home with such small equipment. I'd imagine something at least ten times bigger.
