Can any one please explain what to do with the peers.dat file on Mac??

my wallet wont sync and i have no idea how to fix it

I got an error message (damaged file) when downloading with Safari but tried again using Chrome and it was all good.

Close Syscoin and after that.

Go to your home folder (http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-use-your-macbooks-home-folder.html)

Go To Library > Application Support > Syscoin

Remove the peers.dat file and replace it with the one you can download on the first page of this thread

Restart the Syscoin app and it should sync in a couple of seconds.

Good luck.

Anyone can explain STEP BY STEP what we have to do to make running this wallet? And then, what must do with the private key?Huh

Yup. Download this (assuming you are on windows)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/rz2kdciobpchlsy/syscoin.conf

Then go to

C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\SysCoin

Short cut is windows key + r and type %APPDATA% then open syscoin folder

Paste the syscoin.conf file.

Close and open the syscoin wallet and should sync.

Then when you have the private key go to

Help > debug windows and click on the console tab

Then paste

importprivkey kjuoiafs87asf978asd99876asf9786asfd

Make sure you paste your private key that moolah sent you.

Thank you very much! But still "No block source available..."
what is wrong?

My wallet does not synching! "NO BLOCK SOURCE AVAILABLE..."

WTF I CAN DO HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

Not sure why anyone would sell substantial amounts at this price, I know people are weakhanded but seriously - you pay 500~ Satoshi for an ICO portion of which 1500 Bitcoins was invested and you think its going down from here?

Bet they are the ones who flogged off all their cloak at under 7000 Satoshi and Blackcoin at the 800 Satoshi shakeout.

I mean there is being conservative and then there's throwing away a golden opportunity.

Some people just hate making money. Saw the same thing in VIA. Coin launches and people sell down to the price point where everyone bought in and then the price goes up 10x without them. The ones that can hold a few weeks will win in the end.

Ah yes no problem, have you added nodes and added the encrypted private key in syscoin.conf?

if you send me the encrypted privkey you recieved in your email i can make up the syscoin.conf for you and all you will have to do is copy and paste to get you up and running.

LOL, this is sadly going down. Those who predicted that it might get below ICO price might be right - devs seem not to have any support plany. I would like to be wrong on that! The coin's specs are good, though.

Oh dear lord don't do this people. First, your coins aren't stored in syscoin.conf, and it can't be used to load them for you. Second, the privkey you received in your email can only be used to permanently load your coins into a wallet, which means this guy would have access to your coins for as long as you kept them at that address, even if he actually did turn over a wallet.dat file you could use to access your coins.

tl:dl giving anyone your privkey is a great way to get your coins stolen. Don't do it.
