Delete everything in the .syscoin folder except your wallet and the .conf file.
The restart it, that should do it.

Wow...the syscoin market was at 800 for hours last night...very easy and peaceful...morning came; someone yelled "fire!" on this syscoin forum, and the place burnt to the ground.

Now this coin is permanently tainted in the collective unconscious of the crypto community...all issues can be fixed AND even improved, but once tainted, it's almost impossible to recover.
