qbar.suprnova.cc found these blocks so far: http://explorer.cryptocoinrevival.com/address/QRGALA58kxLb6ND3n3DaJpsNwbrVyEPVQy

from their pool-stats page they're on the correct chain.
The high % is normal, the block's difficulty are low but pulse wont let every block in the chain. difficulty readjustment will follow in future, hard to guess a proper value out of thin air Wink

Wallet not syncing:
Are you sure you're using the right version? 'getinfo' has to return protocol-version 70010
If you got the right version, at what height are you stuck?

Please provide as much info as possible otherwise we're just guessing in the dark.

Cheers,

That's your problem!
I guess you updated the wallet sometime after pulse started and you got a big chunk of wrong blocks (about 2000 blocks).

You'll have to delete your blocks/ and chainstate/ folders and resync from beginning.

I've been mining on suprnova for a while. Yesterday I decided to withdraw my coins and so I initiated the transaction.

281865   2014-10-05 01:05:03   TXFee   Confirmed   QRQgiwPd...NRaQxM8g      n/a   0.01000000
281860   2014-10-05 01:05:03   Debit_MP   Confirmed   QRQgiwPd...NRaQxM8g      n/a   852.28340381

Everything worked fine according to the pool, but I never received any coins in the wallet.
The address is QRQgiwPdy5zYujSAi7MmyrjFgSNRaQxM8g. Apparently I am on the same chain with the pool and the block explorer.

Can anyone please explain to my why the coins are not in my wallet yet?

It seems the max transaction limit for Quarkbar is 200 coins.. Above that I get a "Transaction too large error". I've manually split that TX into several smaller transactions now and sent them to you.

Quick info for Miners
... regarding Pulse

Pulse will drastically change mining behaviour.

- Block-creation will be slow and share-counts will likely be extraordinary high. Don't worry, this is good!

- Reported Network-Hashrate will be wrong because Pulse makes it impossible to linearly derive hash-power from block-creation-times.

- Pooled mining is still possible and still grants you advantage over solo-miners. However, it will be more difficult (in terms of chance) to get the block because conditions are tighter when running on high hash-power networks. To keep the arms-race up Wink

- Reported difficulty is low. Yes. Difficulty is calculated upon time past between the last N blocks. Pulse alters this so the difficulty will remain low. This will be changed in future and relies on how busy the network is or will be. Enjoy it while it's low =D

Yes, QB has a max-input of 120, so about 220 QB. It's so you can't have a Denial of Service attack on the blockchain by spamming huge blocks with millions of small inputs.

I see that Quarkbar is getting back to cpu-only origins of quark algo (it's good!): I've mined a block with my old laptop in a few hours Smiley

It would be better to have a reliable value of net hashrate... The pool (with GPU miners) shows really other values then the wallet. This is not good.

As stated earlier, this is impossible.

A bit of background info:
Cryptocoins derive the network hashrate from the time between block-creation and the difficulty of the blocks.
This means if blocks are created slowly, the hashrate is low. But also that if blocks are created steady but the difficulty is low, the reported hashrate is also low.

Regardless of the difficulty, pulse will always alter the blockchain by forcing other parameters, like certain TX-factors like fees or value or amount (of txs). Pulse will now only allow a block every 5 minutes unless at least 10 QB are being TX'd.

This will result in a Non-Linear block-creation and thus make it impossible to derive any reasonable hashrate out of it.

The reported hashrate now represents the minimum required hashrate to maintain the network alive. Not the est. real hashrate that the network does.

http://94.156.218.28:7977/ p2pool is updated now, sorry for the delay.

Thanks! Will update it in the OP!

We have notified the operator of this pool that he still has to get on the right blockchain. We will let you know when it is safe to mine here! Smiley
