Well, I got my shit together Smiley Maybe put download link in the [ANN] - it seems there was a 'forced' QT update that I totally missed. My bad!

I now have version 0.8.6.0-g04854e1-crf-beta (from Github) - and yes I know it is the same About information as for the obsolete, old QT...  Roll Eyes

1 node connected ("addr" : "192.3.141.186:31616") - synchronizing 58 weeks next Smiley

Thank you all!

Hey!! ;-)

Well, I already removed the blockchain to begin from scratch. Dead addhosts aren't important: live ones are important XD

If you'd post your getpeerinfo, we can add them other IPs (if only for now).

Peace!

Devvie

Post-edit: I got a PM that I should get my shit together and at least check the QT version... It's 0.8.6.0-g04854e1-crf-beta ;p

https://www.allcoin.com/trade/QB_BTC - damn, who has them big sell orders there... Totally humbled with 496 QB in my wallet XD

Haha, it's always the small things Smiley

It is good for coins to stay under the radar in a way, as it is much less likely we get network attacks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi All,

The server for cryptocoinrevival and its explorers is running out on May 2. This will mean the explorers will also shut down for Quarkbar and Frycoin. I will keep my nodes running for both coins, though.

Good alternatives can be found at Multifaucet:

Quarkbar
Explorer: http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=QB
Connections: http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=QB&network_info

Frycoin
Explorer: http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=FRY
Connections: http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=FRY&network_info

Take care! Smiley

Best,

JonesD

BIGGEST GIVEAWAY EVER

I'm considering doing a huge 100k+ giveaway via a faucet website, so we can get Quarkbar in the hands of as many people as possible. What do you think?

300k was donated to the quarkbar faucet and I managed to get them to distribute it in larger numbers.  Come get your free quarkbar at http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?faucet=QB

I contacted them to see if they can call that off.  Hope to know more soon.  Best way to counter is by trading some coins there and show the support of the community.

Due to the lack of working nodes, and 2-week absence of new blocks in the network, the currency removed from multifautcet.tk.
Please tell me a PM if there is something to change.

I will try to arrange a node, but am unable to do it myself. Anybody with some experience here that can help with it?
