Good morning,

QuarkBar has a maximum limit of 160 inputs.
This means that 159 inputs x 4 QB = 636 QB maximum transmission for miners.
This maximum will vary with the block rewards.

It is possible to send larger amounts of QB as long as there are no more than 159 Inputs.
If you get a payout of 500 QB, these 500 QB represent 1 input for you.

For miners: It is NOT possible to payout more than 636 QB (theoretically).
We've set a safety margin and will split the payout at 500 QB.
The maximum amount for Auto-Payout is 450 (Safety-Margin - 10%).

We apologize to those affected by this issue.
We've paid out everyone we found in the logs yesterday night (6-8 pm GMT) and have PM'd the TX-IDs to the users via bitcointalk.

Cryptocoin Revival Foundation's effort to revive Quarkbar

Quarkbar has been elected by CRF as #3 Coin they will offer aid to

Cryptocoin Revival Foundation
Revives promising coins that have been deserted by their developers, but have strong communities supporting them. The foundation is non-profit and aims at increasing the reliability of the cryptocoin economy by providing a stronger basis for new coins. The foundation foremost offers technical assistance, but also wants to help the coins with marketing and communications. Read more about us at cryptocoinrevival.com.

Read about the organization in this original topic!

What the foundation wants to do for Qubitcoin:
1. Create new bitcointalk where the foundation is the Dev. done
2. Fix problems in the code. done
3. Release new wallets. done
4. Elect a new representative of the coin to run the communications.

First we need the following things:
1. Find out if there is actually a need for the take-over of this coin. We will have a poll to see if you agree to this takeover.
2. Want to know what happened to the original developer.
3. Want to know about possible problems with the coin like a large premine or technical problems.

Please respond below! Smiley

Remember CryptoALTeX will donate all fees collected from QB coins back to the QB coin community.

It may not be much, but every little bit will count.

https://www.cryptoaltex.com/index.php?page=trade&market=BTC&coin=QB

also please let me know where the proceeds will end up going.. obviously we need above .0001  in fees before we can start sending payments ;P

If you guys bring me 360BTC volume you will get 1BTC per day for the community Smiley

Wish full thinking. LOL I try to trade there now because of this but very slow going with low volume. I did make a little money on Cinni yesterday but not much because there was not much to buy. It would be nice to see people start using your site more.

I did make a little money on Cinni yesterday but not much because there was not much to buy.
Quarkbar could be the next Cinni if only we could get a little more publicity, we have a limited amount of 15000000 too, what we need is a quark coin with POS incorporated somehow but as I understand it, it's quite difficult to implement which is why we haven't seen one yet.

pos would be great for this coin, could bring it to a whole different level.

Updating code to make this happen may not be possible, perhaps a burn of the old qb to a newly created qb_pos if it ever were to happen.
That is assuming that a pos + quark algo is even possible. If we want to start fantasising about the perfect coin then the pos algo should also search for prime numbers (primecoin), be asic/gpu resistant and retarget difficulty after every block Wink
Also a tiny percentage of the generated pos would be designated to a charitable wallet which the community could vote for which organisation it would be donated to at the end of each year.

Great ideas! We will see if we can implement something like that. Smiley

Maybe you should go to c:/users/(username)/appdata/roaming and delete everything except wallet.dat. Then download the new version and let it synch. Smiley

I am not in favour of switching this coin too much. Even though adding POS would make me gain more coins since i have just been holding over 100k for awhile.

Did it synch up to that block or showed it immediately?
