Very interesting quote from that article This is a fable for the Bitcoin bubble (or not?) that we’re living through this year. Back in 2010, Florida programmer Laszlo Hanyecz talked someone into accepting the 10,000 Bitcoins he’d “mined” on his computer in exchange for two pizzas.
“It wasn’t like Bitcoins had any value back then, so the idea of trading them for a pizza was incredibly cool,” Mr. Hanyecz told the New York Times recently.

Someone should pass out paper wallets to local businesses so we can get more merchants I'd be willing to donate some of my CAC coins to the cause if someone can do the foot work.

Just bought out the rest of the 1 sat sell orders and created what looks to be our first buy wall at SwissCEX. If anyone wants to offload, my order is waiting for you.
If OP is still around and offering initial deposits, my address is at CSxzsh7H9in7PmBYVCQVngV4M4EX72Grev. I'd like to make sure the wallet is working properly before I move my coins out of the exchange Just withdrew my ZIP code to verify it works. I trust that is sufficient proof on the blockchain to show I'm a CA resident.
But seriously, how's development of the Linux wallet going? I'd feel a lot safer getting this wallet off my Windows machine.

Not an expert on Linux so don't quote me 100% on this but I think the wallet can be created quite easily using the Linux source if you need help I can probably look up a tutorial on YouTube/Google I know my friends use linux and they said it's not that hard.
