how hard is it to set one of those up? Depends on the backend. You'll have to program the front end though and maybe a little of the back so that it checks difficulty and hash rate and determines how many coins can be mines in x time frame and then the value of those coins. It then compares all the other coins. Unless CoinWarz has an api to use, then it'll be easier

Let's work to get some Merchants to accept this and I think all the rest will fall into place once people can spend their CAC directly on goods & services with-out having to exchange them for BTC.

I agree. I have contacted a few people but no response... Don't really see much effort being put into it with getting the coin with potential merchants. However, I am planning to open up an Exchange soon. My Pool idea is dead, but maybe ill extend within time to integrate to the Exchange

The value is too low for people to take the coin seriously at this moment. Once the miners come they will drive up the difficulty and in exchange people won't sell for 1 - 10 satoshi it'll be 100's of Satoshis in time. Just wait & hold, be patient, our time is coming. I know it

Speaking of litecoin this thread has more replies than LTC but less views. I think we need to do some marketing. It's great that we got a few active members posting daily but how did get 3x the views is what we need to figure out.

A bunch of BTC people pump it up that's the only reason it did so well and because transactions was 4x faster than BTC helped too

Ok. Here's an update.
Those that have been here from the beginning know I've been working on this for a while...
I have a merchant, Better Edibles (marijuana edibles with a growing catalog), that is willing to accept California Coins for product (at 200K CAC-2 Mil CAC) for $20 worth of product on a promotional product. This should add real world value but I've still to get a dispensary to work with us (working on it) since it is a medicinal marijuana product. But imagine... You mine 200K CAC and you can get product at a dispensary by sending it via smartphone....
Anyone one in the community have advice on the matter?
California born and raised. Live here now. Rep it till I'm done...

Ok, and seriously...? 1 satoshi? Give me an F'ing break... I believe in California Coin and in it's value. 1 satoshi is a joke. If i can get it accepted at 200K for $20 (with Better Edibles, see previous post, and carrying dispensaries) it's value is 10K satoshis, so look at it like that... If it's only 2 Mil California coins for $20 worth of real world product then it's still 1000 satoshi.
This coin is wildly undervalued and has a massive future.
