New- FC2 received today! 3.8 mil converted to 242k- wow, that's drastic. But, hey- at least we can say our Developers have accomplished the task exactly as they said they would- every step of the way. I like being on-board with this coin.

That seems like a better rate than I had.

I had 2.4 Mil and ended up with 57K.

Does any one know what rate they converted at?

The rate they converted was based on percent of market cap, so proportionally you would still have the same number of coins as you did before.

The old FUEL market cap was about 4.3 billion coins.  If you had 430 million FUEL, that would be 10% of the total market cap, thus you would receive 10% of the total market cap of FC2 (10 million coins)

2.4 million = 0.0005581 of total market cap (0.05581%)
0.05581% of 100 million = 55,810

The number above I'm sure is a little different than yours because I don't have exact amounts - but that is where they got ~57k coins from your ~2.4 million.  Basically, before the swap you owned 0.05581% of the total FUEL market share, and now you still own the same percent of share in FC2.

A better (and less prone to error) solution probably would have been to figure out a conversion rate as you mentioned - percent market cap of FC2 versus FUEL, which is 0.023255.  This number times your FUEL would yield the correct number of FC2.

2.4 million * 0.023255 = 55,812

As to why SumthngsWrong received 242k for his 3.8 million - that definitely does not sound right, he should have received around 88k.  I am guessing (hoping?) for a typo somewhere in his post.

Your "FC2 Coins Calculated" numbers are off by a factor of 10 - so far, in your list the only one who's numbers don't add up are SumthngsWrong, everyone else's look OK

We understand substantially less fuel is being received but it is the same % share of total coins. Since there are so many less we will be able to start the market in the hundreds of satoshis rather than around 5-10sat.  So once it is back online at exchanges, you should see the coins as roughly the same value in btc as before the swap.  Please allow for a few days for the price to stabilize once relisted as well.

Mine has been "Synchronizing with network" at the same spot for 3 days now. Also sent in my fuel balance and never heard anything back....

Try bellow to correct this....

1)Re start wallet.
If this dosnt work then close wallet and try bellow.

2)Create config file:

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
maxconnections=1024
rpcuser=youpickuser
rpcpassword=youpickpass
rpcport=34161
addnode=188.226.128.85
addnode=188.226.252.39

word or note pad programs work well for this
change the user name and password
save file as FuelCoin.Conf
save file to the directory folder as follows "Computer/Local Disk/User/Computer Name/AppData/Roaming/FuelCoin"

Re start wallet
If this dosnt work try below.

3)Start over by deleting everything except your wallet.dat and FuelCoin.conf(which you created in option2) files in your "Computer/Local Disk/User/Computer Name/AppData/Roaming/FuelCoin" directory folder and download the wallet from scratch. Reinstall the wallet and run again.

If this dosnt fix the issue then we can look to other possible solutions.

1. can i install a new wallet? and receive FC2 there, instead of old "nonsync" wallet i have on mac?
