closed Just wait and dump your coins after NoDE hit an Exchange. My predictions are that price will be 0.3 BTC per stake.

Yes there will be a bunch of weak hands who'll dump as soon as it enters the exchanges.
Have to remember there is a lot of impatient people who just want quick cash, broke teenagers in developed countries and then people in developing countries where $100 is a weeks' income.

There ain't no Revolution like a NEMolution. The only solution is Bitcoin's dissolution! NEM!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=186785Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.

It cannot be a fork if it's written in Javascript (NxT being Java and Java =/= Javascript). As well NODE seems to offer innovations not seen in other coins (which is outlined on the first post and on their website).
It's technically a bit too soon to dismiss this coin. Stranger things have happened in crypto, NODE could surprise us all by hitting a capitalization beyond our expectations.
Wow today i understand that Node is not NXT code fork... i was thinking that way because of NXTL name before was good that those guys changed name to NODE. And good that it goes live WITH existing new features not like most coins last days... Node bank + instant transactions is VERY GOOD beginning. PS:Fork for me is clone version of existing coin with some improvements into protocol. For me node is not fork like NEM too.

Yay, go my coins. Hopefully the software comes out tomorrow and we can approach an exchange. How about BTER? They love NXT and clones!
But this is not NXT clone is can take longer to add it.

I think it's really interesting that this is written in node.js, instead of c++ like every single bitcoin/altcoin.

Let me get this straight. When the coin is fully developed we will be able to send someone USD through the decentralized network? If this is accurate, then how can this coin not be the most innovative coin since Bitcoin itself. A feature like this can spur adoption from merchants on a massive scale. How about 12,500 btc per stake. I aint selling for a measly 1 btc per stake.

14% Use the best code, NODE The best code ? How could we know ? It's closed source. ANd who is interested in the code ? As long as everything works as expected, no one is interested in code. You won't reach mass adoption by boasting how well your program is written... The slogen tells me nothing what NODE is about
13% NODE - it´s DONE It ? What is done ? This is really vague and doesn't tell me anything what NODE is about either.
12% Node - Together We Grow Hopefully we do, but hey. If I hear that slogan, I don't think of an payment processor, or a currency....
5% NODE - Be your own bank 5% NODE - Become your own bank
I think that these 2 are almost the same and should be seen as 10%. That slogan at least tells me what Node can be used for. Even though I don't think it's wise to use node as a store of value. A Bank should yield constant 0 risks interests. I expect NODE to have a lot of Volatility. So Storing one's value in it might no be the best use case.
6% Node simple and safe payments. This tells me what I could use NODE immediately for. If I want to pay online, I can use NODE. Maybe "NODE - simple & secure online payments"
And who actually reads all those suggestions?! Just submit as many suggestions as possible so your chance of getting that stake is bigger. Maybe share 1/2 stake among all the voters. SO you will have more participants.

Here's a couple more for the slogan contest.
Node - Global payments made easy Node - A currency for tomorrow Node - A new way to to pay Node - Let's do business
Node - Let's do business Node - Global payments made easy These two are the best. The vote will not work. There are many puppets and that's a shame.

AMEN. Free that source! Offering a coin who's main claim to fame is "we're written in nodejs" and then not allowing anyone to see/run your system prior to launch is just awesomely ironic. ANd who is interested in the code ? As long as everything works as expected, no one is interested in code.
It is pretty much impossible to say if everything works as expected or even what expected really means, without the code, though! I think almost noone is interested in code as long as they know that the few people who would be interested have had that opportunity to apply that interest and look it over. You won't reach mass adoption by boasting how well your program is written...
I'm somewhat shocked and horrified that there is any adoption of any closed source coin. Madness, if you ask me!
