Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Ok, I think I got the winner Network Oriented Distributed Economy that was an early iteration of mine, but I tossed it because the word network is implied by node & is also a tad too technical to appeal to the masses, and oriented doesn't really hold or add any meaning at all, it was basically just a placeholder for the O because I couldn't think of something more purposeful off the bat. I stand by Nexus of the Open Digital Economy. I also think a subtitle is merited beyond just breaking down the letters, which is why I appended 'the new paradigm '. beginning to wonder if putting a bounty on this is making it more competitive than collaborative.. |
