If that is the case then fair enough, but the man himself seems to be stating that it overran.

The timer was correct, people asked about the 22:55 prior and everyone was told to ignore that time and only follow the countdown.

the countdown was 100% correct I checked it versus Eastern Daylight savings Time and it checked out perfect.   The auction ended right at 4pm Eastern time.  Anyone bitching and complaining didn't read the thread or ignored the countdown.

Why not just accept all the bids?  Think of how many puppets there must be.  At least these people are ponying up real BTC to support this project.
look in spreadsheet ... bids after 161   22:55:07 is after the ends of countdown ... thats unfair

Not sure how that is a bad thing?  Cutting it short would have been grounds for major fail, but letting a few higher bids in?  They should all be time stamped, he could roll it back to the one that got in before the true end if that is an issue.  I don't think anyone was complaining of that.  People were saying it was cut short, which it wasn't.

He answers this right here if you cared to read the actual thread of the project you were bidding on.

Here is the most accurate Count Down!

This Clock will be posted on the main page, and occasionally on all new pages!

I see only a part of the clock.
And why is the end 22:55 and not 23:59?

Don't know why ... must be some kinda of error! But the count down is right! As soon as the clock reaches the Specified time - Auction comes to an end!

i made a bid, i am hoping that is all i have to do?
do i need to sign up for anything?

In case your bid is the highest, you will be contacted, to finalize the registration process! By that i mean, that we will send you our wallet to collect the bid!

koop4u themself stated that the timer was overrun. Any big after 161 should not count. As others stated, people timed this, and was counting on sniping. This is the reason I was insistent on a precise time for auction end.

I was in the shower when time come to bid, because forgot about it. But I set an alarm for 23:50, so I can bid.
But to be honest, I was sure this is gonna happen, when new bids come in over time, this is why I continued to bid.

I can live with this outcome, but to be honest, I'm not too happy, because it's not the most fair outcome.

This is not good. As a long time ebayer, I think a timer is a timer. No exceptions.
I was looking to buy some coin, but I'll wait a bit, how thinks turn our, this whole thing don't make me trust the creators too much

Citing your words, koop4u, this is what I stuck for. Changing the rules afterwards is just not right and makes the community casting doubts on you and the whole project.
Please think over and I hope we find a solution for everybody. We could give more stakes to the auction winners, so more bids would be valid for example.

But dont let this coin start in a pale light...

I thought that if the countdown is at zero, it is the end, no matter what time it is. In my opinion, the auction was also closed at zero.
This is just my opinion as a uninvolved, because for me there is no problem.
I'm in the "3 stake auction" and there is no problem. The last bid was from "schnötzel" at 6/9/2014 22:54:23.
So all just in time.

Why then DynhoSts, Starfleet.Intelligence betting 22.55 after you've played more

6/9/2014 22:55:30   Vega
6/9/2014 22:55:33   bitwhizz
6/9/2014 22:55:36   Starfleet.Intelligence
6/9/2014 22:55:44   signingoff
6/9/2014 22:55:51   Secondleo
6/9/2014 22:55:55   DynhoSts

This is also incorrect, if you won you would have taken the other side

I am for a solution and that to all the participants were satisfied

Rofl,
so you guys Bidded on after 22.55, you lost and now you are trying to dispute the time to suit your bids,
when everyone else (including probably you guys, based on the timing of the bids) were using the countdown as instructed by OP

I'm afraid it's not that simple. It's not just about the chance, but the stake amount, and the price.

bitwhizz i wake up now i live in brazil ... no, I was quiet as the clock ran out and thought I had won, most thieves managed to take bids after the clock ... then I had to try to give more bids because it is unfair, I have won, and a thief come and bid after
