bitwhizz i wake up now i live in brazil ... no, I was quiet as the clock ran out and thought I had won, most thieves managed to take bids after the clock ... then I had to try to give more bids because it is unfair, I have won, and a thief come and bid after

The devs could fly to everyone's house and personally give them free Node for absolutely nothing and I guarantee all that would come of it would be 10 people posting on here that they weren't home and therefore Node is "unfair". There's simply no pleasing everyone... I'll support whatever decision the devs make as this is their project after all and they have the final say.

1) Vega 2) dbgirl 3) signingoff Lot # 5 - 10 stakes
1) Vega 2) banders Lot # 6 - 15 stakes
1) bitwhizz 2) signingoff This is the preliminary list of winners! All of them will be contacted one by one! To ensure the best result possible. @ DynhoSts & other interested parties! Guys chill... and enjoy this soundtrack link xD Your voices were heard, and i want you to know that i'm open for discussions! But before let me state this! This was a CROWD-FUND in AN AUCTION STYLE! and by no means a copy of EBAY! Stop calling people names, and accusing without a confident reason! It is not polite and more than that immature! Respect others and you'll be respected as well! The auction was prolonged with 1m & 24s, that is how long it took me to press the "STOP ACCEPTING RESPONSES" Button! Those who submitted their bids in this timeframe were lucky! Now my question to you guys is: - How do we solve this issue without erasing those bids?? Lets discuss constructively! I already announced the winners! And i won't remove them from the list for the following reasons: 1) They Won - by participating in the auction! 2) I don't want to provoke another conflict! 3) It is in the NODE's interest! Looking for active involvement of all the members!

Google Docs works fine as a collaborative spreadsheet, but it is not a realtime auction platform.
Regardless of the method used to stop the auction, I would not expect the spreadsheet timestamp results to be in sync with when bid was placed.
Back-end: There can be a significant lag between when the bid is submitted by the Form and when the Sheet actually logs the timestamp. During the last minute of an auction there is a flood of simultaneous edits (lock cells, update cell, run cell formula functions, unlock cells,etc.). The spreadsheet is multi-threaded and can probably que several hundred bids, but it does not necessarily process them sequentially, and if it does there will be delays. There are a large quantity of cells with formulas that change frequently, the sheet could be better optimized.
Front-end: Background applications and installed browser extensions can interfere with the timer and spreadsheet performance. Before bidding, clear your cache and disable your browser extensions. Use Chrome browser for speed.
I would not recommend using Google Docs for another auction. Just go with sealed bids via PM or email.
To appease a few of the 'non-thieves', maybe our Node devs can offer all of the auction participants a final deal? An option to buy one single lot of their last highest bid.
Otherwise all sales final and case closed.

Here are my two ... Nodes. The overtime effected the various bidders negatively two different ways. Those who lost because they were outbid in the overtime. Those who won, because they also bid overtime, but would have won other lots and/or at a different price without it.
I think the most fair resolution would be allowing ppl from the first category to buy a lot that they would've won if no overtime for the price they bid. As for the ppl who paid higher then otherwise would have, or got less stake, they could be compensated with more stakes for their money.
You would need to assemble a list without the overtime and compare them, it shouldn't be too hard.

You told me not to do anything...I am so confused...how can I go to my account 17287648688638888468?? I suppose that you entered a wrong passphrase and it gives you a new account number! I recommend to: 1) Visit the following link http://5.9.123.114:19775/2) Choose a new passphrase and write it down somewhere so you don't get it wrong! 3) Create a an node account, by submitting your passphrase! After confirming your new NODE account, log out and enter the same passphrase again to double check that the generated account corresponds with your passphrase! 4) After double, triple, quadruple checking that the passphrase gives you the one and the same NODE Account! Send it to me, so i can add it to the file! 5) Save your passphrase somewhere, that you don't get it wrong by mistake! If you find any difficulties in the above explained how to, let me know!

An example for the second case, because it's a little more complicated. Lets say that someone would have won two lots, 5 and 10, for 0.6 and 1.2. Thats 1.8 BTC total, but he was outbid with lot 5, and won lot 10 for 1.6 BTC in the overtime.
Without overtime he would have won 15 stakes, for 0.08 BTC per stake. With overtime he won 10 stakes for 0.16 per stake. You could give him 20 stakes for his money.
So essentially he would need to pay the same money he bid, but he would get stakes based on how much a stake would've cost his without overtime.
If his winning bid was less then what he would have paid without overtime, then do the above, plus offer him additional stakes to buy at that price.

Of course, so finally we don't need an auction. Only ask everyone how many stakes he want to buy and what price he want to pay. I want to buy more stakes for less money? I think its better if you offer "the winners in regular time" to buy the lot at the price of the "winners in overtime".

Dev asked for possible resolution for the auction controversy, I provided one that I feel is the fairest. If you disagree, present your own solution.

Yeah. I think its better if you offer "the winners in regular time" to buy the lot at the price of the "winners in overtime".
That is one solution. Its certainly simpler. But I still think mine is more balanced.

If someone wants to cancel his bid i would suggest that this spot is free for the same price as it was claimed. I will take my 2 lots ( 1 Stake lot and 2 Stake lot) and have one additional question how we will manage the escrow? best regards

That is one solution. Its certainly simpler. But I still think mine is more balanced. Maybe, but i believe that the "real time winner" probably would bid again, but then it was closed. That would be more expensive.

It would be best if we would all use the same escrow. I suggest anon136, he has some practice with alt IPOs.
