How the hack do the devs want to integrate a dezentrelized USD wallet??!!
Any explanation how they want to do that?
Other whise I see no reason why I should Invest in Node, that is the only inovation I can see...but I have a hard time beliving its true Tongue Cheesy

You’ve created an account using a secret phrase: 13612210224060154205;

You automatically get 3 accounts, every account works with a separate module:
a) 13612210224060154205 - NODE & Genesis’s Block decentralized module;
b) 13612210224060154205USD - centralized module through a payment gateway;
c) 13612210224060154205EUR - centralized module through a payment gateway;

All the transactions are saved in its blockchain;

Exp:
You got your new account 13612210224060154205USD, now you can: add USD to it trough a secured payment gateway, send/receive USD to/from another XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXUSD account for instance your friends, family, etc. or withdraw them through a convenient payment gateway.

That is pretty cool but the USD would still lie in some actual bank account at a parter-bank right ? The way I understand it is that what's actually handled over the blockchain are IOUs.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Announcement

Proof of Activity Algo. Launched. Clients Win and Linux ready.!

Now you can try the POA algorithm on real network

Version Win: http://nodecoin.com/node_0.9.1b_win.zip
Version Linux: http://nodecoin.com/node_0.9.1b_linux.zip
Instructions for Linux (https://github.com/nodepay/Docs/blob/master/Instructions.md

Attention to participate in Forge POA, you must have the account 500 000 coins

And don't forget to follow us on Twitter - For the latest News & Updates

First you have to download last version of NODE client. Currently this are the latest versions. Open it and wait till blockchain is downloaded and working. (your account number is in the upper-right corner)

Also go to bter and buy minimum 500k NODE. Personally i bought a few millions.. After that withdraw them to your NODE account to start forging (deposit and withdrawals will be working on monday) and pay attention to the client updates dev team is doing almost weekly (yes they are working hard)

To be able to forge u just need to have your client open and eventually you will forge a block. What this means? When transactions are made.. let's say 1M.. that Million pays 0,35% fees, which is 3500 NODE. If you forge that block! You'll get those 3500 NODE! If u are not that lucky and u forge a block with let's say 10000 NODE, u'll forge 35NODE. A block can contain several transaction.

Good luck forging.

If I logout, do I lose my points (or units, I don't remember the proper name)? Or do I lose anything except the time when I'm not online?

Good question, Silkk is able to answer that.

If you go out of network, then your time is then removed. Better to use the Linux client more chances forge block

Does anyone have an idea what time (CET) withdraw to NODE account will become available today at BTER ?

I wrote bter that the network is operating normally. Today will be enable "Deposit" and "Withdrawal"

perhaps but the poa wasn't active three day ago, so dumpers did not have any reason to keep their node into wallet. i guess (and i hope) that a big amount of node was already ready to dump on bter and a lot of this amount was dumped during the downtrend.

the dumpers must regret for that,
the dev team of node is working hard and pass the POA.

Day withdrawal limit 480000 / 500000 NODE - Funny since you need 500000 to get started.. Any reason why this was set up this way?

- Guess I have to wait another day to see/experience the full blown potential of NODE -
Same over here. Maximum withdrawal is 500.000 minus fee = 494.999 NODE  Undecided

is there a reason to limit withdrawal?
BTER does not think, people wants 500k, not 499k

you can open a second account but fee are going to increase. it's boring.

I've gotten the same problem, did a maximum withdrawal and instead of taking the fee for the extra 50K I got just for the fee's they take it out of the transaction. Come on how stupid is that?? If I send 500K I want 500K + fee's. It's ridiculous.

They should really redo there fee's, why is it so high? 1% all other alts are only 0.2%

[edit]
If anyone wouldn't mind to lend me the 5001 Nodes be happy to send back 5100 tomorrow.

PM me if you're up for it.

If you found my post helpful, use my tip jar!

I guess with the high volume of NODE moving between accounts right now because of this 500.000 requirement its profitable to have as little active forgers as possible for as long as possible for BTER, don't they have a better chance of getting a block reward on their accounts?

BTER has special client which not forge.
