We are looking to grow our team here on BitcoinTalk.

Looking for:

Community Managers
Social Media Ninjas
Blog Owners
Anyone who believes in UVC and wants to help out

Please contact if you're looking to get involved!

So the "team of college kids on summer break" is actually 1 person.

Good to know.

Edit - just quote the OP: "College and University classes have just ended for the summer and this team will be working tirelessly to make UVC a success. This will include constant development and updates from our computer science team and maximum exposure from our marketing team."

since mr. UVC coin likes to delete posts.... reposted. - of course, all this info was deleted from the OP.

I approached him and explained exactly who it was that would be taking over the coin. He said he almost has a full new team on it so he's not giving up

Do you trust him to make this a success?  I don't and I think the coin should not be under control of the original dev (team?).  He has a right to be a part of it but not to call the shots.  Someone should make a new revival thread.

I guess the college kids got real jobs for the summer...
it was a nice try though - I do admit that I was able to flip my coins for a profit - so no complaints from me...

Not dead, having issues  Wink .  I think these issues are going to get sorted out in time because the ideas behind a coin appealing to universities has plenty of appeal.  There are huge opportunities within universities to push crypto currencies and this one could be the one.

In the UK Uni's don't start term until September, not sure about the US.  We have some time to get our act together before then but first we need some leadership and a good team.  I can promote this coin on my Twitter once I see a solid team forming with some good ideas.

Remember < 10m coins.  Why not take a chance and buy up some of the market cap at rock bottom prices.  This could be a big potential and it will help price rise as well.

If these guys were smart they'd contact Red Bull and work out a deal to trade in your coins for Red Bull certificates.

No, of course I don't. I have no idea who he is and this teams record is... less than stellar. But like I said, I'll be here to give this to my guys when it falls apart. We'll respect them for now though and see if they do anything

I guess everyone must be blind with regards to UniversityCoin.

Lets lay the facts out:

Coins Mined From 1 Week PoW: 9.5m UVC
Marketing Fund (Premine): 0.5% (Block 1 - 50)

0.5% premine of 9.5 million coins = 47,500 UVC

Here is the dev's premine address: http://cryptexplorer.com/address/UYgbV5zjw4hMNWzDhVKZvNzixuc2pxSsdG

Block 1: 500,000 UVC (FIVE PERCENT pre-mine)

this 500,000 has since been sold off/given off it appears with multiple addresses.

jebus911 - your team can literally take this over it appears this dev is a piece of shit.

This coin was a scam from the start.

lol, hit and run scumbags. We now know why they relaunched the coin when pools 'mined too early'. They wanted block 1 all to their selves.

jebus911, please take it over.

If anyone wants in in this project why wait until the dev team gives up or leaves. I believe that more minds working on a project the better. Shoot me an email at my username @gmail and we can work something out to get you involved.

We should group up now rather than wait. Even if the original was a scam we as a community can build it back up. It would sure be a first.

Its not me who wants it exactly, I'm just handling this because he's busy. If you know me, think about it for a bit and you can figure out who wants it.
