also I think the digi shield is a huge thing, and I like participating in something that sticks it to the mining farm coin dumpers.  Someone has been trying their best to dump this thing to shake out more coins, the down swing was on almost no volume at all, someone is trying to get more.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

DigiShield and block retargeting are doing their jobs quite well if you ask me.

seems that way, the price always bounces right back, and if you look at the 12 hr, this may be the end of a double bottom, and the mac d says buy as much as you can, from what I can tell:

unfortunately the stats on that graph are not as old as the stats of the coin overall. While that graph shows a down trend a lot, the overall (coming from other exchanges) is that the coin is up... a lot... it was at about 8k only a couple weeks ago. Now, it's at 50-60...so... yeah it's still got a good up trend overall. I'm holding long :-)

Noob question here. First off where do I put this info at?

rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=1161
port=11161
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
addnode=54.186.223.183
addnode=54.187.101.97
addnode=74.208.230.160
addnode=184.155.218.183
addnode=71.227.74.98
addnode=188.194.8.82
addnode=109.201.154.157
addnode=184.155.218.183

Second I am trying to find a pool but so many of them seem to be having issues. Anyone have a good stable North America pool?

Create a file Named Nautiluscoin.conf in %AppData%\Nautiluscoin (or whatever you specified as the data directory when you initially installed) with the information above. Actually, you only need the addnode lines.

I had zero problems with naut.0feepool.com.

If you're on a mac it will be in /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Nautiluscoin/
Same file name. (Nautiluscoin.conf)
As he said, you only need the addnode lines, the RPC settings are for software development and interaction. (Most users won't need to fiddle with them)

Hi - sorry I have not been as active over the last few days. I was travelling all last week and did not have a lot of time to post.  But I am back now!

Updates:

-Now that we have a deep liquid market it will be easier to gain merchant acceptance - and I will begin that work today.

-NSF: as the volume grows we will no doubt have a little more volatility, but we should also gain some buy support form the new coins Bryce Weiner is planning.  My view is that the general public will gravitate to the least volatile coin...that does not mean it can't go up or down...but it will in a less volatile fashion.

That is all for now, I will update as necessary.

What is the purpose of the nautilus.conf?

In a number of coins, the dedicated nodes are not necessarily programmed in (I believe in 1.1 of nautiluscoin they are now).

Basically without it, it wouldn't sync up to the network.

As they are programmed in now (I think, it's not an absolute necessity unless you intend to do some development with yours (like utilizing the RPC-JSON responses a wallet can return)

Are your developers looking at the slow confirm times? Over the weekend we were seeing 20-30 mins or more just to get 1 confirm.

thanks for the top 100: http://nautinsight.buddylabsapps.com/top100

Can you add the donation address on the footer?

Isn't a rich list sort of misleading, given a user can have NAUT sitting in multiple addresses? I never understood their purpose in a multi-address wallet system.

Bryce Weiner just launched XDQ (Dirac?) the only way to buy XDQ is to use NAUT...I would suspect that is why we just saw a little price spike

That's cool, good to build up an existing coin this way :-)
