Update to the Drachmae ProjectOpen statement: We would like to make clear who and what is involved and how the Drachmae Project works.
Where did the Drachmae project come from?:On the 28th of April 2015 Coinstructors, London, UK was looking at how could real estate or Land be used to asset back a currency or become a digital trading backed token.
A member of the Coinstructors team was discussing this with Brian Kelly and ideas were thrown around on the subject, Greece was brought up in the conversation due to the fire sale of the country's assets.

This was the start of Drachmae Project which is a Blockchain based solution for possible use cases in Greece where possible, if possible and if Viable.

What is Athena TV Show all about and how does this fit into the Crypto spaceDrachmae is a Proof of Concept trial on the island of Agistri, Greece, to see how Crypto Currency can work, whether or not it's viable and what benefits it can provide. In order to raise awareness of the trial and gain the commitment of the local businesses we were also asked to raise awareness for the island to help boost their tourism. Essentially they are suffering from a lack of tourism and in order for them to find value in the project and in the wider opportunities of Crypto Currency we need to gain the trust of the locals and work with them to develop an understanding of how the project will work alongside some new long term revenue streams that they can then associate with the project and with Crypto Currency.
We discussed with the Mayor and Vice mayor the opportunity of doing a TV Reality show on the island, to generate new exposure and marketing for the island and to support the Drachmae Proof of Concept with local businesses by them using the platform and tokens for hotels, food, drink and other services during the filming, creating a win win scenario all round, for all parties. They feel this is the best way to get all parties focussed and raise the profile of the project and the island.
Athena will happen, one way or another, as it is part of the Drachmae project. It has already generated significant interest from potential new partners as it is a unique project that will include filming the contestants and crew using crypto and blockchain technology on the island.
Notice: Brian Kelly offered Prize money to the contestants total of 10,000 Euros to be paid in NautilusCoin to the winners, NautilusCoin is not involved in the TV Show or has contributed to it in any format. Athena is a Coinstructors and Ikon Media Project only in strategic alliance with the Agistri Mayor's office.

www.coinstructors.com Nautiluscoin Involvement to the Drachmae project:As stated on the 20th of May, Brian Kelly on the Virtual Event offered Nautiluscoin to a real world valid user case.
We came up with a plan to use Nautilus as part of the POC and distribute to locals on the Island of Agistri.
On top of this A full blown ecosystem for Nautilus and development has been mapped out down to Points of Sale for Local business and various other features via integration into the Drachmae project.
Due to the Drachmae project being a grouped effort there is a lot of development costs. Nautilus does not have a Development team or structure and this therefore makes it very hard to do anything technically with the current Nautilus.
The principles of how can NautilusCoin not be dependant on Bitcoin as reserve currency has been discussed and the preferred solution is to back the currency with Gold, for which there are a lot of legal and regulatory aspects that need to be catered for.
There are a few aspects to Nautilus that need to be overcome and it must be setup correctly for the longevity of Nautilus within the Drachmae Project.

For Nautilus to be successful and fully integrated it requires approx 150,000 USD funding to achieve its goal.
Brian Kelly has already started the project off from his own pocket, but only once Nautilus has a business structure and official Nautilus team, assisting will the full scope of Nautilus integration into the Drachmae project, the POC and long term aims can be achieved.
As for Nautiluscoin and the TV show, Nautiluscoin is not related to it other than Brian Contributing to the Prize money. It is not a Nautilus Project or been supported/funded by the Community.
Nautiluscoin or Brian Kelly is not apart of the TV Show crowdfunding in any shape or form.
Coinstructors has suggested to move NautilusCoin across to the NXT Monetary system due to Nautilus not having any core devs therefore making it easier to build a community with the features also available within NXT.
What is required for NautilusCoin is a similar business structure to that which NXT Foundation has established.
