How do I update from the old wallet to the new one?

thanks

Just run the installer and start up the wallet. No pain at all.

Unfortunately this didn't help me. I haven't upgraded a previously downloaded wallet before. How do I run the installer?

the download is an installer, an  exe. After you download, just double click on the exe... the installer will run.

Thanks, I got it, just re-download the wallet.  Smiley    I was confused by "pull from the master tree at Github" and I was afraid it would create another address or something would get messed up.

The wallet.dat file is what you need to keep, backup and protect. It is your private key and all your addresses. As long as you have that you won't loose your coins. I personally encrypt the wallet and back it up to OneDrive named naut-20140507.dat (that is the date). So, if something happens to my PC, I can always get my coins back.

Your wallet only changes when you add and address or edit and address (change label etc). Re-back up whenever you do one of those things.

Love the new name NAUT it will really help people differentiate this coin from the other PHI coin... Also the new information and steps look promising can't wait to see what this coins future will be.

2 things:
-0Fee is pulling a 51%. Possibly disable sign ups for a while?
-Change the PHI in the name of the thread to NAUT

Yes it is updated on the website and you should be able to copy and paste the link here.  For some reason the forum removes the AWS links and spits out 'suspicious link removed '. If anyone knows how to fix this let me know.

No, it's because they are links to .exe's.

Have you considered a different algorithm? I see that two people are mining over half of the coins right now. Is it possible to apply the digishield to other algorithms?

Not true. I'm the one mining with 240 mh/s right now. Rented some rigs for a couple of hours, most of the time I wasnt even with all the rigs. I'm only hitting 240 mh/s for a period of 6 hours. The rest was under 140 mh/s and soon it will be again.

Full disclore? So far I wasnt able to mine more than 35k NAUT. Still have some hours to go, but thats faaaaaaaaar from "half of the coins", lol. The difficulty is going up and readjusting considerably.

I think this coin is going to be a big hit, so I'm trying to accumulate as much as I can and holding.
See ya.

I hope I didn't insult you. I just saw that on the pool your "nautiluscoins per day", according to 0feepool, was about 122,000 when there are only 243360 coins being produced a day. I am glad you are not a big asic manufacturer "testing" out their new gear and dumping the coin.

I agree with kaduwall above.....this coin is going to be a big hit.

In my opinion switching algo's will not solve anything as you can rent rigs via any algo out there. I had 120MH rented for a while yesterday, may consider renting again when kaduwall is finished  Wink. I am in it for the long haul and plan to hold coins.  I only hope others that will be jumping onboard soon will do the same and not dump after mining, when the masses get here the NSF will be put to the test. If anything I'm sure it will help minimize the impact of dumping. It will take a little while before the majority see the value and want to hold.

If the demand continues to be high for these coins people will keep digging into their pockets for rig rentals.....a good thing really.

Go NAUT! btw may want to consider changing the OP ticker in title to NAUT from PHI.

Edit: Looking to the future there is only one thing that would be nice to see and that would be an adaptive POS model.  Imagine if balance holders would receive interest based on how the coin is doing itself and the market. I don't believe in the common POS model that has set interest rate targets at different blocks, it should be based upon the dynamic environment.

thanks for the support - PHI changed to NAUT and We are working on potential of PoS implementation.
