.....  After all the holding speculators give up, and start spending coins.  Speculation won't make the price go up if new buyers aren't showing up.  New buyers only show up when the trend is going up.  The trend doesn't go up unless BTC shows it has value by being used.
Selling makes the price go down. Presently all retailers of any note cash out to fiat instantly. Holding and buying is what causes the price to go up.

Look inside yourself, and you will see that you are the bubble.

I said spending, not selling.  Parasites sell coins on exchanges.

I see the value of Bitcoin, so I don't worry about the price...

i'm hoping for some upward movement after summer, the time before christmas. it will have been a year in between bull runs.. which is not indicative of how it's been going the past few years.

And I said, all online stores of any note sell instantly. It is exactly the same thing so far as price.

Big difference.  Coins being used for something that makes them useful is far better for its long term value than speculators waiting to get rich.

I see the value of Bitcoin, so I don't worry about the price...

Q: bitcoin when will it go back up?
A: all I can do is to predict.

And my prediction is:

Its likely that my prediction will miss the real price development on many candles but I think (in the big picture) the price will drop more in the next months.
I predict the bottom is reached late summer to xmas.

"of note" is key. I own a small shop (see sig) and we hodl BTC. If only the big guys would do so...

what if you run out of inventory? whatever it is you sell, you must resupply. the lower your margins, the less btc you can keep unless you can pay your supplier in btc, which for most businesses is not a reality (yet).

Looks like people are done releasing old coins from cold wallets. When bitcoin days destroyed 7 days average has been as low as today, there has been good times to buy the last two years.

Even if all of us Hodled, price would still go down as new coins are coming in everyday. This might be a slow year, but I am in no hurry.

Take a look at the trend line on http://www.cryptocoinstats.com/priceforecaster.php

We're currently far below the regression line.

I'm not really sure of the viability of that model, as I don't know how expected price is determined, but looking at the past shows that there are very long periods in between spikes where the price stays below the regression line.

A breach of the 480 usds at Bitstamp would be a positive indicator (breaching a bearish trend line that starts at 907, touchs 712 and 541), but I have no clue when that will happen. It might go lower before going up.
