Well, the wallet updated some, but it seems stuck now between 37-40 hours behind, in the last about 3 hours.

I have 13 active connections to the MMC network.

Can someone (one of the officers perhaps) look into it?

Thx

Can you provide some information such as the block number that you're stuck on and the wallet version?

Thanks for that, in the meantime, the wallet is up to date.

EDIT: The wallet is 0.8.55.0-unk-beta. Should I download 0.8.54b even though it has a lower version number?
I have not received much MMC from the pools in the last 9 weeks, much less than expected.

From https://mmc-square.com/support-help/4/not-receiving-coins/191/ it seems I will need to redownload the blockchain. I think that will do it. Thanks.

No It didn't. I thought of downloading the "new" wallet in addition to scraping the local blockchain. I downloaded the wallet from what I thought was the good source but now I have the wallet version 0.8.584-0-g6ce1e1e-beta which seems stuck at block 35759.

I downloaded wallet from memorycoin.org/files/, not the big button but below, where it said

v0.8.54b for Microsoft Windows Hard-Fork [Only this build will work after block 35720]
Hard-Fork posted by Delinquency

I didn't check for the wallet version right after download, I checked now. If I am not losing it, then the downloaded version is not v0.8.54b but 0.8.584-0-g6ce1d1d-beta as stated above.

Can someone shine some light on that. I would appreciate -

1) the link to the place where v0.8.54b can be found
2) clarification for Windows users where the correct place for the wallet.dat is (there are two now, Memorycoin and Memory Coin)

[EDIT] Now, after I wrote that, it seems that the blockchain download got unstuck, I am only 6 weeks behind and progressing.
[EDIT2] And, Iam up to date, the wallet is in agreement with the mmc blockchain.

We are sorry. The dead links are now removed from our official website - memorycoin.org
Stores section is updated and added to top menu but it's going to be more visualized in the next website design.

Update #1: for customers and stores accepting Memorycoin via CoinPayments: The payment processor, CoinPayments is currently working on their new design and development. It seems temporarily down, at the moment.
Update #2: CoinPayments fixed the glitch. It was possibly due to recent Mintpal hacking.

If you look a bit deeper, you will understand that there is, in fact, no decline in prices. There is no buyers and sellers in the market which is great at this stage, imho.
It means the market doesn't know where to go. Some guys are selling their coins blindly and some lucky ones are collecting their cheap coins. I suspect someone is trying to speculate now before a major increase.
Memorycoin is a long term investment, not a pump and dump coin. It can easily reach to 10,000 satoshi levels.

JP wrote a new article about Memorycoin, this week. You can find it here: http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/memorycoin-an-altcoin-for-you-the-users

All of the money spent by the developers is open to the public to trace, in order to preserve transparency. Most candidates have opted-in to provide transaction data of their spending. Very interesting indeed.

Latest news and updates:
  • Memorycoin is now CoinTelegraph's partner. (Ref: http://www.cointelegraph.com/about)
  • We need 36 more active redditors' subscription (total of 200 subscriptions) to our Memorycoin reddit page in order to be listed in a major Cryptocoin subreddit. Subscribe from here (http://www.reddit.com/r/Memorycoin) for latest updates - There will be more updates in August, I promise Smiley
  • We applied to AltAccept for Memorycoin. AltAccept is a new payment gateway for merchants. We have CoinPayments in hand but some merchants may prefer AltAccept, as well.

What wallet is the correct one now? None seem to sync.

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. The ONLY possible way to achieve change is to change the very system of how government functions. Until we are prepared to do that, suck it up for your future belongs to the madness and corruption of politicians."
