a dev "team" not able to come up with a windows wallet shouldn't be expected to be really big
I'm sure they are technically capable. It's easy, just follow the instructions. But maybe he/they don't have a windows machine and thought that one of the miners would build it. The new source code is there now so I'm currently building a Linux wallet. You don't need a wallet to mine. You just need one to get your coins out, so there is plenty of time for someone to build a Windows wallet.
sorry but I mine mostly solo, if it is just to mine on pool, there is no need to be there on launch.
Regarding building the wallet for windows the method is there:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149479.0 but there is no much reason to install all this for just one coin (the only interest would be to avoid virus... must admit and cheat on coin which release their source to early...)
On way or the other this launch isn't fair at all.
