I'm curious who was the first person who started mining QuazarCoin?

developer, I guess Grin silly question, dude!

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

this is obvious! I mean besides the developer. Interestingly, does he have the largest number of Quazars right now?

Probably. If he started mining ahead of the others and did not stop all this time he has a great sum now

Ext-Pool update :
We updated to last pool software old ports work fine in http, and we add new ports for stratum.
update you miners and use stratum+tcp://

http://qcn.ext-pool.net/

Welcome...

Excellent, thanks for staying on top of the source!

I just switched 1.5KHs to you.. it'll be good to stop wasting time on those orphan blocks!

Its good to see this in the log from my miners:

Code:
[2014-05-24 22:53:38] accepted: 63/63 (100.00%), 528.85 H/s at diff 5000 (yay!!!)
[2014-05-24 22:53:40] Stratum detected new block
[2014-05-24 22:53:40] accepted: 64/64 (100.00%), 530.04 H/s at diff 5000 (yay!!!)

I can recommend everyone switching to this protocol on this pool - it'll reduce the load on the pool, and cut the number of orphans down for a better return on mining time.

Minerd tool with stratum support: https://github.com/LucasJones/cpuminer-multi#download
Command line to run it:
Code:
minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://qcn.ext-pool.net:3005 -u <wallet> -p x -q

When I start quazarcoind.exe and it starts synchronizing, I get this very often:
"Some problems at write: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host:10054"

Whats going on with that? How to fix it?  Huh

Is there something wrong with http://qcn.cryptity.com ?
Blocks are not confirmed any more (staying white).

Any news from this ??

I have 150 Intel I5 pinting on this....  What Happend?.

you are in a biiiig trouble... I just switched rigs but lost approx 3 4 hours.. for me thats a lot of hours..

Do you think we will ever see our coins?

Pool operator here. Someone managed to point a worker with invalid address hence payments got stuck.. spent 3 hours cleaning up the mess Sad Payments are catching up and soon will be back to normal. Sorry for inconvenience.

Culprit was the owner of the address 1SpWXh8...

Attention (Yellow Alert) Dear Pool Operator http://qcn.cryptity.com/

we might have the same problem again payments are stuck, please advise

at QCN (QCN) 3.16 USD Zulu time 11:37 PM EST you might have thousands of $ in your possession , you could take it shutdown the site and erase tracks behind. you wont do that , I am writing science fiction story

I like your operation because you command Hash Rate: 23.88 KH/sec   out of network Hash Rate: 908.17 KH/sec

that is pretty darn good and blocks were are being found

3.67 USD if you wait long enough you will command 10s of thousands of dollars from miners... what a trust.. has been bestowed

I am mining at the qcn.cryptity.com pool, and payments are working fine for me. Just received payment for block 12382. All previous payments were received without issue.
