Going to be interesting to see how the price holds when there is no more mining to be done. Traditionally they don't fare too well but would love to see this buck the trend.

People will spread FUD, but XC is breaking ground left and right... at this point the FUD is useless noise and should just be ignored by all, why waste the bandwidth... onward march!!!!
Yes agreed for the sake of this community let's move on. We doing so well and respecting each other right now. This a great environment for flourishing ideas. Agreed! Sprays Febreze's new "Anti-Troll Spray with a fresh mint scent" into the thread *spritz*<<<<<<<<

If there is enough people that transfer to a XC Multipool - it will go well. It's all about the MP buy support to drive price up.

I guess you would be wrong on that, cinni is just one example of many, but please minimize fud on the thread, this is probably the only coin with minimal fud because there is no negative things about this coin. Since when is wondering what the price will do when the nature of the coin changes fud?

CryptoAlts now supports XC mining. http://www.cryptoalts.com - supports scrypt, x11, and sha256 mining. The XC specific page is a bit ugly with the CSS right now, and I'll have to also update the generic CSS to add some x11coin in it, but I'll get around to getting that updating that later today to make it match the x11coin theme. Donations appreciated : XHdCzYnsHTgHJ9igqykNjbccEGxPp4DUch Will be a bit of a beta for about one day, but like with other coins, you will be able to mine XC only, or spread your hash among other coins available (BC, MINT, SHARE) if you like via the "hybrid mining" feature this pool supports. Please report any bugs/issues in #cryptoalts freenode, so that anything bugged max be patched asap. How does that work? I have 4 GPUs I was mining XC with, what would I be mining on your multipool? DO I specify then to be paid out in XC. Never mined on a multi

I put in a request to the following pools to set manual payout at less than 1. This would help out low hash users mining at this diff to still see some coin at this late stage of POW. Hopefully the pool ops agree. https://xc.suprnova.cchttps://xc.maxminers.net

Buy XC, hold them in your wallet for minting, or mine on a multipool that pays out in XC

That is far from FUD. I asked what traditionally has happened to the price of coins when PoW ends and PoS starts and did not get an answer.

Just wanted to provide an update, mixernode code is being updated, will be back online when finished
+1 I am sorry, if this post is a bit chaotic and not in perfect english (not my mother tongue). For about 2 days I am planing to invest into a crypto currency. I am very new to this topic. I was an IRC and bitcointalk - online! - for over 30 hours and have read and read and read... Yesterday, my list was: X11coin, LibertyCoin (XLB) and Darkcoin (DRK) and a side look to OrangeCoin. Anonymity: These are the very first anon-coins (please correct me, if there are other interesting anon-coins) and I believe this is what the market is looking for. XLB: I am believing, that only a few persons are in IRC, but what I have read yesterday in the XLB channel was very depressing. Devs and Community not working together, problems with anon integration in wallet, etc. Moreover, today was liberty-day - a kind of XLB-self-made-event - and I hoped to get some really really nice news. But: no. DRK: Ideas are good. I think, that this is no doubt. But: with that market cap the devs should be more pessimistic and secure and know exactly what they are doing. This fork-chaos yesterday was a prove, that the team (are there only 2???) is to small and overwhelm with the current "size" of DRK. XC: very smart community, very productive community, an open minded dev -> A dev who knows when it is time to ask for help and does not what to do everything buy his own! I think, that is very important. (i have been in IT-buissness and I know, that it is possible to do great work with 1-2 IT-experts / programmers, but when the "product" grows, people have to jump in and do other work: example: marketing. Hire the right people for the right jobs!!! XC: go go go!!!

Traditionally, it largely depends on the quality of the coin (dev + features). XC is a unique case because it's dev is quite certainly the most qualified dev ever to create an altcoin. And because its features currently rival DRK, but also plans to exceed DRK's very soon with implementation of xnodes in less than 3 weeks. With only 5.6m coins minted. I expect a significant rise.

If you want XC only, your username in your conf is your XC wallet address for example : "-o stratum+tcp://useast1.cryptoalts.com:5555 -u XJqgm3YCr6HgC7JY82bu4beyTZ17ZegN4B -p x" If you want something like BC and XC at the same time, your username is bcaddress.xcaddress (more detailed explanation here http://cryptoalts.com/hybrid/) Anyway, I already have a miner on it testing in advance : http://cryptoalts.com/stats/?miner=XJqgm3YCr6HgC7JY82bu4beyTZ17ZegN4BPage is ugly right now, but I will update the CSS so it looks like : http://cryptoalts.com/stats/?miner=B4ye3oE2RTHPJY5DSRT4uPMEAwkLyDG34u (BC) http://cryptoalts.com/stats/?miner=MpCfV8zDAZy4wJmjZJpMS4JL34tNFqtaVn (MINT) http://cryptoalts.com/stats/?miner=Sh6P8bF43ap4LmpeZnYEFaKNbqrRQBaUNt (SHARE) Just with the x11coin color theme.

I expect a significant rise. It is hard to tell what to expect. My guess is we will see a small dip at least when any multi-pools or miners moving on decide to cash out whatever they have. Even if I thought there would be a big dip I would not sell any coins to try to catch them lower. I think this coin is currently way under priced. It offers everything that DRK does and much more. While the anon feature is driving much of the price at this point I still say the things coming down the pipeline are of much more importance and will drive this coin much higher. If we do not eventually see this coin at DRK pricing levels and beyond I will be highly surprised.

looking for multipool ==== bounty
I'm sure Hashcows can add XC as a payout option, they've done it for other coins. Not as the official multipool, but just an option to have.

Of course, he would know that if he had just asked instead of being his always presumptuous asshat self...
I used to think he's legit, but after the latest NAUT tweet in which he tricked people to buy that coin i consider him just your usual P&D twitter man now. Bryce Weiner needs to get hit by a bus, preferably with an XC ad on the front of it OMG !!! LOL!!!
