How much of this dev work is going to be open source? What's to stop the competition just ripping off all the ideas?
^ Not trolling, serious question. Part of DRK's success has been no-one being able to clone dark send easily due to it being closed source for now. The dev is not here at the moment, I'm sure that he will be wiling to answer this soon.

Got coinpayments to add XC, all xc investors please donate a small amount - 0.001 btc to get us to the top of the list, top coin only has 68 votes - https://www.coinpayments.net/voteThe thing is, the vote is only 3 days from over. Their voting round last 2 weeks, and this one started on May 15. Usually they add top 4-5 coins to their merchant chains, but unless we can reach that number, it would be a waste. I have no doubt we would be top 1 if we had the full 2 weeks. But there are only 3 days left, which means we need at least 15-20 votes/ day to reach there. It is still doable given the current interest in XC. Here is how to do it: VOTE FOR XC NOW at https://www.coinpayments.net/vote . TOP 4-5 COINS WILL BE ADDED TO THEIR MERCHANT CHAIN. ALL WE NEED IS ABOUT 60 VOTES.Unlike those exchange sites vote, this only allows 1 vote for each ip address. All it takes is 0.0011BTC, and a few mins of your time to do it. Current vote status: https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-thanksStep 1: Go to https://www.coinpayments.net/voteStep 2: Select XC Step 3: Click on the bottom "Submit Vote - 0.001BTC" Step 4: Type in your email address and your name, and choose the coin you want to use to vote (0.001BTC or 0.0427190LTC or 991Doge) Step 5: Click "Complete Donation" Step 6: Send 0.0011BTC(0.0001 is transaction fee) to whatever the address they give you for your vote. Step 7: Wait about 20 mins, and check your email to confirm your vote, and DONE Step 7 is crucial. If you don't confirm it, it won't count.

i don't know how exactly it works.
but at first it split 1 xc into 2 sending to 2 different address, then on the receiving address it show exactly as the screenshot.
it works. legit.
the receiving address is here XJnHZUaD95mdPDrjXJXLU7vuAC9PVcmomW
you can check on explorer
This is interesting. It's nice to get a look at the blockchain from a test. So transactions get shuttled around and split up through multiple addresses. Won't this create even more bloat than ring signatures, if every transaction goes through x30 addresses? That could be a problem down the line. good question. may some genius answer this question. we can collect questions and ask dev OK. It's night here but I'll check back in tomorrow and see if the dev has explained how this works i.e.. the appearance of the 30 denomination addresses for one transaction - is this normal and will it lead to bloat? It's interesting. Want to know how it works. Did Dev answer my question?

Just to organize some info for everyone: Link to NEW Wallet (updated TODAY 5/26): https://mega.co.nz/#!8Fs0GCqC!R5EorsUF2rkdqEwR65DEmhdDVP3X4MH_FzxDlUNAOJADistribution changes: PoW blocks reduced. Now 22,500 blocks @ 333 per block. (Max) Total Supply: 7.492 million XC Estimated Total Supply (factoring in PoS blocks): 6.2 million XC Estimated PoW Days Remaining: 2 days Visio on how the anonymous transfers work: Additional information given by atcsecure:For those looking for some more details... check out the link, our design incorporates some of the features from dual path paradigm concepts, although we are advancing this concept to be multi-path paradigm, and we will implement on top of tor to provide a high level of anonymity http://eprint.iacr.org/2009/385.pdfhttp://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1208/1208.3022.pdfThe principles for this concept come from a design that I originally leveraged back in 2005,[multi-path paradigm] the system still runs to do this day handling 50k to 100k users per day also the infrastructure for this will support numerous other applications, such as encrypted messaging, P2P exchange..etc granted we can only develop new features so fast, but we are putting the foundation for a multi-use, multi-purpose platform one the of the details we are still working out is the autonomous "supernode" function and best methods to prevent bad-actors.. We have implemented PKI and will leverage that as part of entire solution Bump. Still seeing some people confused on total coin supply. Hopefully when Dev gets back he will update this in the OP.

I wouldn't call it broken but DRK got too much attention before having a well working annon it is just a beta RC, while XC is just gaining momentum and annon implementation is already superior to DRK's one I wouldn't expect anything in crypto. There are a lot of questions left unanswered about XC and how it works. Nobody seems too interested in having them answered. I waited all night for an answer about potential bloat but there's no answer.
