Just some more info:

House for sale on peck - contact detail - Simon Bright, same phone number as SimonBright.org (2007)
http://www.sellproperty.net/?page=out&id=58876&print=yes

Cached copy of whois for yogum.com before he added privacy on sept. 5 2014 Wink (second link is the current whois)
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:CyYQ3VPdii8J:www.v3whois.com/w/yogum.com+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca&client=ubuntu-browser
http://www.v3whois.com/w/yogum.com

So it looks like his actual phone and address, by cross referencing are:
Simon Bright
39A Prairie Street
London, London SW8 3PL
United Kingdom
+44 7941159485

Anyone live close by to go knocking on his door?

*Edit* Looks like maybe he recently sold or bought that flat (top listing), http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/SW8-3PL.html
31 Prairie Street, London, Greater London SW8 3PL £489,999   Flat, Leasehold   17 Dec 2013

but.... http://www.nethouseprices.com/index.php?con=sold_prices_street_detail_print3&locality=SOUTH%20LAMBETH&town=LONDON&street=PRAIRIE%20STREET&year=All&house_style=All&house_age=All&house_type=All&search_radius=15&northingToSearch=17610&eastingToSearch=52830&cCode=EW&outcode=SW8&incode=3PL&order=&start_limit=&curPage=&price_min=&price_max=

purchased in april in 2010 as well which would support the 2011  created date on yogum.com

Can someone in the UK try calling this guy? Maybe its a huge misunderstanding and we can all laugh about this later. Or maybe I need to take a trip to the UK and do a citizens arrest. Either way he offers one of us at least a few words before we take it to the next level.

I have also submitted reports with the UK Online Fraud group, actionfraud.police.uk and the United States Fraud Group, https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx.

I gave them both details about my transactions and everything I knew about the suspected Simon Bright. If we raise enough stink about this maybe we can push some action.

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to raise more legal/authoritative awareness on this guy?

Would we like to build a document to signify how many individuals have been scammed and to what fiat amount?

Just food for thought.

My reference numbers are

https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx:

IC3 Complaint: I1410121225127641

www.actionfraud.police.uk:

National Crime Reference Number: NFRC141000793999

In case anyone else decides to add their complaint to the system.

I have also filed a report at:

http://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/02_er_room/

Direct Link
https://secure1.info.gov.hk/police/eforms/report_cyber_crime_en.php

I would also recommend referencing the other reports when filing yours to create a link to all reports that have been opened by users on the forum. I have been updating mine with more information as everyone continues their efforts.

Thank you to everyone that is contributing. I am going to try to get some legal advise here in the states to see what else can be done to further the effort. Since Simon has taken the time to register his company in two countries there might be a way to bring this back on him.

Comrades  Wink

For any future legal support, I suggest you get printouts and screengrabs of your detailed order pages before they just happen to be deleted or go missing (a bit like the picture of Simon  Cheesy). Particularly if you paid in bitcoin.

'Awaiting fulfilment' should be enough to prove the order is paid up.

Of course if you paid in bitcoin you should have also done a screengrab video of you transferring BTC to a specific address !

Nothing wrong with waiting, I just figure with how shifty he is being (deleting posts, hiding himself, setting accounts to private) and not communicating the time for waiting is over. There may be no legal recourse I can take for another 3 days, but I still think it is worth alerting the authorities. If everything turns out ok, then I will close my reports and everyone goes home happy... mostly.

There is no excuse for not communicating with your customers. People are really unhappy and we can't let another BFL happen again. These types of events are the reason people don't want to trust bitcoin.

I totally agree.. I am more then pissed off about this all.. I really had my mind set on receiving the ordered unit last month :/ however at this point (until the 15th) I don't think I have any legal recourse.. come that day I will be lining up to lodge my complaint.

Maybe someone here would want to take the lead to compile a list of buyers who bought from Simon and has not received their miners?

I bought a Moonraker warp 2 from him. No news from him since then.  Cry

Ordered Moonraker Warp 3
Order Total:   $1,395.75 USD
Date Placed:   2nd Sep 2014
Payment Method:   Bank Wire Transfer

Will be filing complaints on both sites if I haven't received any communication when I wake up on the morning of the 16th. Is there anything else we can do? Call the local police? Call our own local police?

Also, if it helps anyone in the search for more info on this guy his username handle on many sites is simonb150 and ?old? email simonb150@hotmail.com Wink Doesn't seem like he's active on too much of anything.

I think we get all of those people involved but I think we are going to have to get this guy in court. I don't know much about the law in either of these countries but I think we need to find an attorney who can show us how/what needs to be done.
