Has VeriSMS already been tested in the Netherlands? The Dutch like crypto  Shocked

Yeah, suggested the same to pnosker. We love crypto!
I tried the Belgium gateway from a dutch number though, but got nothing back...

So in order to hit a major exchange trading fiat directly to VRC, we need to get a move on and help while devs do what they do, develop.
Get a hold of Adam Cochran adam@vaultofsatoshi.com (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=293253) and explain him why VeriCoin is a nice opportunity for them given the potential market cap.
Explain him also the features of this coin, and let him know that we're eagering to trade it. Let him know why VRC and not other coin.

This is crucial. If we move and get fiat exchanges, merchants accepting, casinos, etc, we're expanding possibilities and active buying/spending, while devs can stay focused on the coin itself.
One man doing this will not raise the deserved attention. If you all can spend a few minutes of your time explaining you need new options as a customer, it's most likely to work.
Better spending a few minutes writing an email than hours sitting on something to happen..
Community wise there's space for improvement, don't just wait on annoucements expecting for a rise. If you help the coin, the coin will help you, that's for sure.

Manipulation to keep the price down is still happening. Someone is desperate to keep the price under 1600 - so much so that they would sell at 15,800 rather than 16,196 even though buyers are prepared to pay the higher price not a minute earlier.

This is when you want to be buying if you haven't already, or holding - A coin will typically 'break out' when this behavior is evident, the person holding the coin down low cannot do so for ever and when his supply dries up their is no resistance.

EDIT: Both DRK and XC have stopped going up and are now on a slow decline down - it will pick up pace as the cheap VRC is snapped up. I suspect a lot of the orders on our sell side are people who have gone to sleep thinking it would crumble - take advantage of that, their bad judgement is our bread and butter.

CK, I'm curious if you have any thoughts on that other coin that's one letter away from this one, VRT.

Vertcoin is not one I have followed closely I'm afraid - It would be dishonest of me to give anyone an opinion either way Smiley

With BTC prices heading down it would be well-advised for bitcoin holders to move their coin into something stable that also has huge potential.

Now what could that be... hmmm...  Roll Eyes

One day you will be able to tell your grandchildren you bought into VeriCoin when it cost less than one 6000th of a bitcoin!

When thinking of future potential keep in mind that there will only ever be twice the number of VeriCoins as there are bitcoins......
