Maybe they got a pedophile on loan from the Bitcoin Foundation and their running a clothing sale (boys pants are half off).

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

This better not be as disappointing as everyone else who has "big things" to announce.

That would be tremendous news too, even if paypal only takes some of their shares.

"The next Bitcoin Expo will be in Pattaya!" comes to mind. Rumor has it that there, boys pants are half off.

how is being clever wroking out for ya? Pretty good. Here's a better one. The announcement might be an event celebrating their position as the oldest Bitcoin business without an employee currently under investigation for a crime (although I have no proof of that).

Anyone remember reading about Bitpay doing a big funding round? Rumored to be pulling in $30mil? It's likely to be official news of that.

I wish they wouldn't do these "pre-hype hypes".
They just leave too much to the imagination.
Unless it's:
[1] - Amazon [2] - Dell [3] - Virgin buying out bitpay
...it'll now be a disappointment. Whereas if they'd just announce it straight out it wouldn't.
