Maybe they got a pedophile on loan from the Bitcoin Foundation and their running a clothing sale (boys pants are half off).

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

That's no moon. It's a space station.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

This better not be as disappointing as everyone else who has "big things" to announce.

If it is Amazon, then it would have been tremendous, instead of BIG.

Amazon is already on record that they will not be implementing bitcoin for now:
http://recode.net/2014/04/14/amazon-says-no-to-accepting-bitcoin-maybe-to-building-an-amex-or-visa-competitor/

As for "to the moon"/"big things", Virgin Galactic already accepts bitcoin, so that would be old news.

Im guessing Bitpay is being taken over. Quite possibly by Paypal.

That would be tremendous news too, even if paypal only takes some of their shares.

"The next Bitcoin Expo will be in Pattaya!" comes to mind. Rumor has it that there, boys pants are half off.

Surely, it ain't Brock's taking it over, renaming it to BoyPay.

This seems logical for their announcement:

"BitPay Is Raising $30M At A $160M Valuation From Index"

 Shocked Grin Shocked Grin

Perhaps they got some insider info about government banning bitcoin and therefor want to setup a safe Exchange on the moon. Will this make the btc price go up or Down?  Huh

Pretty good. Here's a better one. The announcement might be an event celebrating their position as the oldest Bitcoin business without an employee currently under investigation for a crime (although I have no proof of that).

Anyone remember reading about Bitpay doing a big funding round? Rumored to be pulling in $30mil? It's likely to be official news of that.

I wish they wouldn't do these "pre-hype hypes".

They just leave too much to the imagination.

Unless it's:

[1] - Amazon
[2] - Dell
[3] - Virgin buying out bitpay

...it'll now be a disappointment. Whereas if they'd just announce it straight out it wouldn't.
