NFD had launched for weeks already. hope there will be some innovations.

"ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country."

i'd like to help NFD, but i don't have this ability, i am not good at computers and the programmes. Embarrassed

You can promote NFD to others or you can vote for NFD on this thread to help it get on Bittrex:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497351.0

That would really help this coin.  Smiley
ok, i will do that, but that thread seems closed already, hope it's still have effect.

wallet switched to "Not forging" all of a sudden, lower right corner "Downloading blockchain", but seems to be stuck. Normal?

I have 1.4mill maybe you have a lot more? I will just leave it open for a couple of more days before panicking, are there any settings I need to switch on apart from the obvious 'start forging'?

a forging question for the experts. A few minutes ago, the number of my forged blocks jumped back down from close to 100, to 69. This is particularly annoying, because one of the blocks in the 70s carried an amount of 116000. How can that happen?

Not sure what is going on with forging today, but my Forged balance was already more than 1000 nfd after few minutes it shows me only 362.
I think that today I have seen some strange changing in Forged balance actually 2 times already.

You've been on a fork. You forge a lot more blocks then with all the fees for transactions. Until the client resolves the fork, after that they're gone Wink

correct! When you forge alone you get all transaction fees, but you will also have a very high cumulative difficulty. The fork with lowest cumulativeDifficulty will win. Sometimes it needs many blocks, when forks have nearly the same forging power.
The client can pop (throw away) up to 720 forged blocks. Only after 720 blocks/confirmations a balance is a "Guaranteed Balance".

current situation:
Code:
"107.170.177.47": {"protocol":1,"requestType":"getCumulativeDifficulty"} >>> {"blockchainHeight":14752,"cumulativeDifficulty":"10784819563320782"}

How do you know when your on the right chain?

there is no really right chain. The one with smallest cumulative difficulty should win. When you only look at one chain, you can not know it.
You have only the base target as indication. You can see the base target of every block in blocks tab. If base target jumps above 1000% for more and more blocks you are probably on a fork.

what di i need to do to have "effective balance"?

do at least one outgoing transaction, like sending NFD to yourself, register an alias, write a message ... and after that wait 1440 blocks.

I recieved my coin on 16th of June, yesterday i entered wallet first time. they wern't effective, not even after i send NFD.
than, because i didn't had 30 signs password i created a new account and send my coins to there.
I have to wait 1440 blocks again?

just send some coins to your own address (in your new wallet) and pay the transaction fee and wait for 1440 confirm
