Check our my interview with the dev. Answers some questions you've been asking yourselves. Remember to share the article with the buttons at the bottom

the link of the interview says  MASTERCOIN dev, not MASTIFFCOIN! Smiley

When coins are staked, that is basically saying you have mined a PoS block, which behaves similarly as if you mined a block with. You have to wait 1200 confirmations (approximately 10 hours) for those coins to become spendable again. To disable staking, you can use staking=0 in your MastiffCoin.conf file or run with -staking=0 on your commandline.

We may eventually lower the maturity time for PoS blocks in a future wallet update after PoW mining ends. The initial 1200 confirmations for mined blocks was set to increase stability in the network and in the price of the coin over the initial days of mining.

+1

When will there be a new Exchange

This. What efforts are being made of getting this coin into more exchanges? Where can we vote for it?

when the volume increases or we win the weekly mintpal vote
It's not on the voting list

I don't understand why are you so anxious for getting new exchanges.
Bittrex is awesome and can handle big volume as well, all big boys in twitter are trading coins there.
When volume is up and dev shows some innovation (I'm very intrigued by the part of the interview where he says something about "clean up" unwanted coins) Mintpal will want to add Mastiff without spending a Satoshi (better spend money on growing the awarness of Mastiff IMO)
As for now we can support it by talking on twitter etc and giving it volume, good things will come!

Bittrex is better than every other altcoin exchange. You can tell it's done by professionals.
I don't really see a reason for going on any other, when we're already on the best.

We've done our part in contacting both Mintpal and Poloniex, submitting their information form for coins, etc. Them adding us is entirely up to them at this point -- we have had people tweeting to them and contacting them on IRC.

Having multiple exchanges trading a coin is always nice, but Bittrex is an extremely well-run, high quality exchange. There is absolutely no urgency in getting on other exchanges when you are already on one of the best Smiley

i agree bittrex is good, but a lot of people only trade on mintpal. more exposure and more trading is a good thing

Of course, more exchanges and more trading is definitely a good thing, especially once PoW mining ends. We're actively pursuing getting added to multiple exchanges and are doing our part Smiley Of course we can't control when they might add us.

This coin.  I hope it goes places, as a newbie with only .3 BTC, I've gone all or nothing on this, I'm really impressed with the Dev and smooth release.  Maybe my whopping 6.5k mast will be worth a good chunk of change soon   Smiley  I even undersold my DRK to get in, lol

Thinking Mastiff could be one of those "hits it big overnight" coins. $1 per MAST is not out of the question.

the only coins being sold are the ones being mined. that's why the price can go up so quickly, there aren't many sell orders on bittrex.
