CoinKing is finalizing their setup for payouts in MAST now - they've indicated that it should be ready to go in about 5-10 more minutes.

Wish I could pickup more MAST at these prices  Sad We'll see how big the multipool payouts are.

We've had some discussion in our IRC channel about the effects of PoS interest, inflation, etc. on the coin over time, and thought it might be useful to share some of that with everyone here as well.

The PoS interest rate of 15% is designed to encourage people that hold MastiffCoin to stake their coins. This is crucial to the overall security of the coin's blockchain and transactions.

The actual effect of PoS interest on the total number of coins, and inflation of the coin count over time, is very different from the PoS interest rate though. Since only a portion of coins will be staked, and a majority of coins are kept on exchanges or in cold wallets, the real inflation of the coin count over time will be much closer to 5% or less.

The POS staking will move the blocks.  Having wallets open with coins mature, as I understand it, will help move the block chain along - the more the better.  Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

I am not talking about POS staking. I am talking mined POW coins/blocks.

I'm all tapped out on available BTC, so I can't buy more.

Anyway, I'm not really worried about this drop.  We could have reached bottom, or very close to it.  Someone had mentioned earlier that if miners are going to dump, it would be in the first 10-12 hours after POW ends.  Looks like that's whats happening.  If you have BTC, buy some and hold.  We have a dev that is very involved and looks like he's got quite a few ideas brewing.  The Coin Recycler is a great idea, and we will have a multi-pool up shortly.  The recovery is going to be great!

@goodluck0319 Blocks are blocks. PoW and PoS both function on the same blockchain, so any PoW blocks you mined are currently maturing via PoS blocks moving the blockchain. All mined blocks, both PoW and PoS, take 1200 confirmations.

I understand that, but the POS transactions are what MOVE the blockchain forward now that mining ended.  So it's the POS hits that move your mined blocks to maturity.  Again - if I'm wrong on this someone who knows better will educate me.

A quick update from the guys at CoinKing.io on how to setup the multipool to payout in MAST for you:

1) Put your MastiffCoin address in the row for MastiffCoin only
2) Leave the other addresses blank
3) Set the auto convert to MastiffCoin
4) ... Profit Smiley

I'm so happy I hopped on at 4k, the market fluctuations don't bother me at all   Grin  Either way it's gonna take a lot of work to get under 4k again, the coin would literally have to die at that point, lol, and with the volumes we're seeing, I sincerely doubt that  Tongue
