Same here, resynched completely and seem to be on the right fork, but can't get rid of the error msg and can't send coins too.

Amazing to me how many coins lately have self-inflicted problems.
The fork certainly took care of the miner problem huh, guys. Roll Eyes

While I appreciate your opinion, I would like to say that getting rid of the miners is a positive. It's a move that was necessary for long term stability. That being said, we have a few minor sync issues and some upgrade issues for a few who waited to the last minute to upgrade.

Without miners you have no network hash....and slow confirms.
How is that stable?  Huh
One thing for sure....you're rid of this one.

Sure. Not everyone is going to be happy with the change. If you're a miner just passing through for a quick buck, then you are probably not happy. However, there are many who are extremely happy with the change and they also happen to be the people that own probably 80% of all CSC. Given the choice, we will always choose to support those who invest in the future of the coin over those who show up briefly to make a quick buck at the expense of others.

Stable means not minting all the coins inside of 2.5 years and discouraging those who would mine this coin just to autosell it immediately. For now, we're at 250 MH, which is more than enough to make the coin functional. In the past we were very functional at an average of 25 Mhs. It's a self-adjusting system. Initially, KGW adjusts slowly (to discourage coin hopping), but eventually the diff comes inline and the rate of block production gets closer to the target. So I'm not too worried.

CSC will only increase in value because we promote:

1. longer term investment
2. commercial adoption
3. reduced liquidity
4. reduced dilution
5. reduced overall beta

CSC will not increase in value because we throw coins at a small handful of miners who consistently behave like greedy bad actors, stumbling over each other to dump their coins at lower and lower prices because for a few minutes mining CSC might be more profitable than mining BTC directly.

Don't waste your time...the devs don't seem to understand the importance of a secure blockchain. I have tried to gently communicate it in the past but to no avail. At this point the only thing that will show them the danger is a demonstration of an attack but I am not the one to do so. I fear that if/when we see a higher value in this coin it will be too tempting for someone to take advantage of. Even before the fork with 2 Gh/s it was in danger but now it is just a joke. One thing saving the blockchain from an attack is a low enough value that someone won't bother...other than to prove a point.

Estimated total available scrypt hash power is over 2000 Ghash so an attack is indeed very easy, so gently said, ... yes you are wasting you time

From a more constructive point of view as i am getting really tired about all those negative comments, my todo list is currently the following:
- Migrate SandCoins to v3
- Port the Insight API to CSC
- Finish the mobile wallets (finally)

Are there any requests (other than network or mining related) from the community for things i should add to the todo list?

it might be better to remove this explorer because it seems to be in the wrong blockchain: http://csc-abe.blockexp.info/chain/CasinoCoin
By the way, it will be someone can talk to prypto for the emission of some codes, in order to celebrate the 3 years of CasinoCoin?

Also helping to boost morale ... lol ... Morale is to its knees, @ 850 satoshi ....  Grin

just saying ..

It's starting to look like "dumpers" weren't what was keeping the price low, but rather the lack of legitimate buyers/investors.

Hopefully good news will come along that attracts the genpop to CSC...

So is that it? The coin is over? Finished?

To peel or not to peel.
