Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

This is the release that will made over the next week...

Dreamwork Solutions to Launch Closed Loop Blockchain Platform

NASSAU, BAHAMAS, December 30, 2016 – Bahamas based Dreamwork Solutions specializing in providing services and support to eGaming companies within the Bahamas and surrounding countries are to provide a Closed Loop Voucher Platform for local gaming services running on the CSC Blockchain.

Issuing a press release on New Year's Day is not exactly the smartest idea. And maybe run a spell checker and have the grammar checked out would add to professionalism.

Ultimately, this Bahamas thing takes as long as it takes. It's a shame though that it missed the xmas season, but what can you do? I'm sure GC and the others have their reasons for the delay.

hello everyone.  ive been a lurker here for quite a long time , well on btcforum at least.  missed some really big trains.  i have a decent chunk of csc that im just sitting on, which i have been for almost a couple years. im not in a hurry and will "wait" for "this" train to arrive.  i think that this coin is a very wise investment since the crypto world is heading for that "golden age" peak soon and im damn sure that by the end of this decade, we will see something big for the casinos.  in my honest opinion, i doubt that the price of csc staying at 1csc = $1BH that long.  why?  simple reason really......  the casinos are going to start accepting csc coins and that will diminish the supply, as we all know that the house does always win lol.  well yes, people win too but the house always wins and that will only just decrease the amount that is out in the wild which will in turn drive up the price of csc.  but that is just one avenue that the price increase would come from.  csc is going to be worth waaaaaay more than $1  .  i think it could rival btc as the defacto of "enterntainment" vs btc which is more of a "standard" almost how the dollar is pretty much accepted everywhere physically.  btc is the same thing but virtually.  csc could also be used as a form of payment for merchandise as well.  have like a debit card that would have a certain ammount of csc coin .  you then use this to place a purchase at a vendor at a casino who is selling , souvenirs etc... i think csc will hit to at least 100 per coin.  and if you think im joking.  dont be the one down the road who starts kicking yourself in your own ass for not leaving it alone and letting it grow.  oh yeah.  there is no competition Wink .  so that right there will give csc a huge share of this market that was non existent Smiley

First of all i would like to wish everybody a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!!!

I have been very busy over the last few months so there has been no progress on CSC related development. Starting the new year i think its a great time to pick-up the pace again. First thing to do now is to finish the mobile wallets. I already had made some decent progress so i guess it would not take too much time to release a first beta version.

There are some things that have been bothering me for a while now:

  • We really need more developers!!! If you have any C++, NodeJS, Ionic/Angular or Java experience and have some time to spare you can PM me!!
  • If you have no coding skills you can still help us out!! I really want to have the commits on Bitcoin audited to deduct any security fixes we should apply to CSC
  • I also would like to know if there are any BIP (Bitcoin Improvement Proposals) items we should implement for CSC?
  • Are there any other things we would like to see in the CSC wallets or any other new CSC related software we would need?

Looking forward to your positive feedback!

In the meantime while we wait on our Bahamian partners, we will have the following solution up and live in a few days:

https://www.cryptoapi.co/

This will be serving 4 casinos who use our http://geolocator.co/ service for regulatory IP lookup checks

We will be opening up the CryptoAPI service to 3rd parties in a few months.

this is another good use example for CSC used in the real world.

Yes, agreed all amusing but great news Smiley

As you can see we have two casinos in the Bahamas using our application with 200k requests per day between them.

Here are the publicly viewable files accessing https://geolocator.co

Shortly we will be imposing https://cryptoapi.co on request fees using the CSC blockchain under the brand of SandCoins so to show it's not about gaming but about token.

We will advertise Sandcoins (CSC) on geolocator.co as using the CryptoAPI.co service.

The two currently using our system are:

1st: https://www.islandluck.com/

View the source code to find inclusion of

https://www.islandluck.com/js/geolocation_temp.js

which contains calls to our Gelocation application

2nd: https://www.chancesgames.com/

View the source code again to find inclusion

https://www.chancesgames.com/js/geolocations.js?ver=4

More pokers in the fire Smiley

Anyway i'm sure others have lots of projects going on Smiley

Awesome update!

200k transactions, does that mean you guys got paid that many coins since the geolocator costs 1 csc per use?

We will be next week, due to the volume of requests that the application is bringing in, we will be charging 0.1 CSC per request on GEO requests.

They have already saved up a few million CSC that we know of.

Fun times, for those who want to list their applications or software onto CryptoAPI.co this will also be available next week.

If anyone who would like to Beta test as a software vendor with the CryptoAPI.co application please PM me, you will be given an account to integrate the APIs and test the application as a vendor.

this is targeted at anyone who has an application or software they can integrate the system into as we are about to open it up.

Thanks

No testers within the community?

1000 CSC for each beta tester who tests the solution with their own solution and can give solid feedback.

What a turn of events - GC is the most active user in the CSC thread Smiley

There's practically no feedback from the community. I think we just have to wait for an upward price movement to activate CSC community again (and get some new motivated people here). Unfortunately I don't have any solutions in my hand (GC) or skills (Andre) to help You guys.

I subscribe to 100% what Marec4 said.

Unfortunately, my support comes down to just my thanks to you, guys. At least, always continue to post news of casinos, mobile wallets, etc.
