on wich exchange this coin is?

alcurex and cryptsy

We have just enabled trading for casinocoin and 9 others @ https://alterdice.com
Hi,
Do you have a REST API for Bid, Ask and Last trade data? I can then add your information to the wallet exchanges list. Contact me with a PM if interested!

Hello,

That data can be derived from the following the calls

https://api.alterdice.com/market/:marketid/tradehistory
https://api.alterdice.com/apidoc/#api-Market-MarketOrderbook

We do not have a specific call for that data but will implement it in the near future

Current docs can be found here. They will be updated with any changes.

Thank you,
John

BTW, if you would like to submit a 115px x 115px image, we can customize your ad placement that is displayed in the wallet. Any service or casino that takes CSC will be able to submit ads for inclusion in the wallet interface. I'm going to be working on a web app soon to manage these submissions, etc.

Ajochems, what image format and compression settings would be optimal? We should give some guidelines.

BTW, connecting CSC wallet users with available gambling and financial support services is the real power of this new platform. We feel that this coupled with the wallet's new support for prypto redemption from within the wallet are the key factors that will drive the expansion and overall adoption of Casinocoin as a funding method for mainstream online gambling over the next few years. Starting with 16 casinos will be a major entry for us, but obviously we expect more casinos to join the program as time goes on.

BTW, everyone - Felix and Ajochems did some really nice work for us on the GUI re-skin. Please consider sending CSC tips to them at these addresses if you like their work.

Felix: CRB9Lkkj9Abefbcv5QS4mWGJ2FBMMXp9dp

Ajochems: CazBuTh2CFFs154pC3Y7ggT6SLhjU2hJNd

I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it if you show them some love. Wink

I used the installer. How can I check the permissions? I tried running the installer and application as an administrator.

Thanks!
Hi,
It looks like your wallet is not having/creating any data. Could be a permissions issue. Did/does the old wallet work on the same system?  Can you do the following:
- close the wallet
- delete your debug.log file from your data directory, usually in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\CasinoCoin
- start the wallet
- check the debug.log file if the wallet starts and is syncing

If the wallet can not sync due to firewall or filesystem permissions you will see that behaviour. You can try and start the wallet from the command line with the property '-datadir=c:\temp\csc-data' where you replace the value to a location you have sufficient rights.

Thanks, I will try what you recommended. I think it is syncing properly, when I ran it for the first time it had the same wallet balance as my previous install.

Yes, the old wallet works perfectly fine on the same system without having to use any additional compatibility or administrator settings.

Done and done.
What do you think about revamping the top post ?
I could throw together some new buttons and shorten down the post a lot.

As well one thing that we need to start on as a community is the documentation because if one or two tried to accomplish the documentation on their own it would be a long long ride before we see it finished and polished.

I can cover a few topics in the general section as well as the network and wallet etc, but I would prefer person(s) more knowledgeable in these aspects to do the write ups on blockchain tech, the wallet information, transactions etc etc.
We don't need anything fancy just clear to the point definitions and explanations of the various aspects of Casinocoin - images help readers A LOT when there is lots of text.

A rewrite is fine, but still need all the links etc. For docs, do you think we could put a wiki up?

Also, Ajochems would like to have access to the twitter account if possible. He's interested in getting this integrated with the wallet.

Everything relevant and important will still stay no worries, A wiki is a great idea!
I do however love bitcoins docs if you haven't had a look at them: https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-guide#block-chain

Let me get the account and change the password don't quite remember the credentials. Ill shoot it over to you via PM or ajo. If you want to sign up on the casinocoin.slack.com I could send it there as well.

I'll check it out. BTW, I'll look into what it's going to take to start filing papers to register a company to be the casinocoin foundation. Not sure whether to do it in Japan, or another Jurisdiction. I need to look into this. Shouldn't be any major barriers to getting that setup by March. I think we'll need it sooner rather than later.

I will quote AJochems about the release:

I am also building a new mobile wallet for Android, iOS and Windows Phone with a complete new interface and different server architecture. I am working on seperating the blockchain and wallet and giving the user the option to store the wallet on the mobile phone or online. But this is work in progress and will be ready for release early next year.

Gamingcoins has announced that he has made a deal with 16 casinos to start accepting deposits via prypto.com at a minimum $1 per CSC. He gave some details recently in a post, but I don't know much more than what he posted with regards to the program. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks because I was busy with IRL work for IREX Tokyo, but last I heard everything was moving along.

I don't know official dates or anything, but it would be reasonable that it should be rather soon since he bank rolled our development effort and this was to be a significant milestone to be achieved before CSC would go live on the service. Again, i couldn't say whether it was days or weeks etc. However, we are closer today than we were 6 weeks ago and from what i've seen prypto is established with decent support for a few other currencies. So, I'm a firm believer that gamingcoins plans to follow through and we'll see some really good stuff happening for the coin in the near future.

When they launch, you guys should buy a few cards and try them out. It might help understand the user experience.

Gamingcoins gave an explanation about the program a while ago.

I will leave you with this image,

a) If I hand you a card with Bitcoin on it - what will you do with it without knowing what Bitcoin is?
b) If I hand you a card with Casinocoin on it - what will you do with it, probably believe you can spend it on a casino - agree?

What are our intentions?

1. We intend to have Casinocoin Prypto cards created which will be Casinocoin branded with a value on them.
2. We have 16 FIAT casinos who are willing to accept these cards as deposit options (I will not disclose).
3. The cards will be redeemed by the casinos for a set $amount.
4. The casinos will then redeem the Casioncoins on a 'private exchange' for the $ value in exchange for a 10% affiliate fee.

So as you can see we are going to use Casinocoin as an affiliate and marketing tool for casinos as currently this is what they need.

This is not about blockchain technology, this is about brand awareness and useage for acquisition.

Once Bitcoin and Crypto in general is ready to be adopted the brand will be in a position to be accepted alongside their 'preferred' choice.

This will also motivate Bitcoin casinos to accept Casinocoin alongside.

We will be valuing Casinocoins at 1 coin = $1 on the exchange until such time the price of Casinocoin passes this minimum.

No members of the public will be able to exchange on the service only opt-in casinos.

The Casinos will only be able to redeem Prypto codes for the casinocoin to be exchanged on the service.

This is a 100% brand/affiliate project to raise awareness of casinocoin and bring the price up to $1, without hurting any business during the process.

thanks

Hi,
It looks like your wallet is not having/creating any data.

Everything was/is syncing properly. Old wallet was working fine as well. The only issue is the graphics do not appear.

Do you need any other logs to help solve the graphics issue? Thanks
